They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.
FWFS Shipmate
Prayers to Jim.
Hate to hear this latest trouble.
Praying for you.
Prayers sent. Stay strong, Mr. Robinson.
O Lord, I put my prayers with Amy and the other FReepers here in support of Jim Robinson. We lift our friend up to you, dear God, and ask first of all that you touch him and heal him. You said we have not because we ask not, so we boldly ask that you heal Jim and save his leg. Please improve the circulation and cleanse his body of any disease or illness. Please restore him to health and restore him to his family and loved ones. Open his mind, we pray, if there is anything he needs to do regarding his health. We ask that you give the doctors wisdom and knowledge, and that you guide them to make the right decision about Jim’s care and therapy. Most of all, dearest Lord, we ask that you draw Jim and his family closer to you and to each other. Please show yourself powerful in Jim’s life. We thank you for your lovingkindness and we praise you for whatever comes. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We pray for your healing touch upon our dear friend and brother. We pray for your comfort and strength to come upon him through this ordeal. Lord Jesus we pray for guidance for the doctors as they look at his illness. We pray your heavenly peace to be upon him and his family during this time. We pray your arms of protection around our dear brother.
In Your Holy Name,
Amen
Sorry about your plight Mr.Jim. As you know soldiers never are far from the next battle on the field or off...there’s always another one to fight in life. It appears from those posting you have overcome before so I trust the Lord will see you thru whatever is determined best for your overall health.
Dear Lord Jesus,
You know this man so very well and so it is not hard trusting you for his care as decisions are forthcoming concerning his treatment....... We pray Lord for a favorable outcome and however you determine the course of his treatment..... May you impress the physicians with wisdom beyond their ability to make a good judgement call in this matter....Additionally that Mr.Jim and his beloved find comfort in knowing that all things work for the good of the children of God and are called according to His purpose...And so on that note we commit them both to you Lord...there is no better place they could be then in your care.
In Jesus Name...Amen
Get well, Jim, be happy and thrive with Amy
Praying for JimRob in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Here is love, vast as the ocean,
Lovingkindness as the flood,
When the Prince of Life, our Ransom,
Shed for us His precious blood.
Who His love will not remember?
Who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten,
Throughout Heavns eternal days.
My former sister-in-law's father had a similar problem. The circulation in his leg was so poor that medicines/antibiotics could not get to the non-healing area. He decided to inject or apply medicines directly into the bad area. He did the treatment himself. I'm not sure, but he may have opened up some of the area so he could apply medicine directly to the tissue. I gather it was painful, but it healed the problem area and avoided or greatly delayed amputation.
My mother lost both her legs to diabetes. Her mind was too far gone to take the approach my sister-in-law's father did. One of my mother's legs wept fluid also.
Prayers up for you, Jim.
Thanks Civ! Big ‘ol Texas prayers for Jim and family. May God hold you close. May He comfort and keep you as you face another difficult stretch on life’s highway.
