In a new book, President Obama talks candidly about race and the presidency
African-Americans have been an integral part of the White House since it was built in part by slaves. In Family of Freedom: Presidents and African Americans in the White House, veteran U.S. News White House reporter Kenneth T. Walsh traces this sometimes fraught history from its roots all the way to the Barack Obama presidency. Click here to find out more!
As he began his second year in office, Obama's presidency was not going well. His legislation to overhaul the healthcare system was still bogged down in Congress. The unemployment rate, which polls showed was the top concern of most Americans, remained stubbornly high at about 10 percent, and much worse in many African-American communities. Obama's job-approval ratings had dropped markedly from the astronomical levels of his first few months to below 50 percent.
Adding to his woes, in January 2010 the race issue erupted again in an unusual and unexpected way. Democratic Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, the Senate majority leader and an Obama ally, was embarrassed because of some racially insensitive comments he had made to John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, the authors of a new book, Game Change, about the Obama campaign. It turned out that Reid had predicted in 2008 that Obama could succeed as an African-American presidential candidate partly because he was "light-skinned" and because he didn't speak with a "Negro dialect."

“Sorry Obama, we arent racists.
We are AMERICANS who love the constitution and hate those who trash it. Kinda like you. Race has nothing to do with it.
You are a British Subject and an USURPER, Now get the hell out of MY house!!!!!!!!!
Here, here!
Ditto!
Can someone cue up the race card graphic?
:)
I suffered racism as a white child in Hawaii in the 1970’s
Having suffered it, and believe me, its real... I HATE being called a racist. I hate it when others throw that card for the sake of argument, or to make someone wrong. That in and of itself is racism. Furthermore, it is WRONG.
Anyone... Holder, Obama, any democrat or anyone else who who throws that card for POLITICAL reasons... shoot for ANY reason other than real racism is using race as a means to an end. THAT is racism.
Hell, I dislike his white half also.
When all your policies are failing, blame it on race, the good old fallback! /s
Just keep talkin Mr. Zer0, keep talkin.
When lying and propaganda are not working; and truth, facts and logic belie everything you’ve said and stand for revert to the old stand byes: The race, gender and/or age cards.
BTTT! Pwned!
I believe the Muslim Mulatto has known since the Cambridge Police incident that all of his whiteness was gone; the scales had fallen from white liberals’ eyes, and now EVERYONE could see he was a skinny Al Sharpton. I was proud of those black police officers who stood by the white officer, going so far as to say they wouldn’t vote for Barack Obama because of his race-card race to judgment.
That incident is the defining moment of his presidency (his “coming out” so to speak), and since then he has openly turned against the will of many of the people who were stupid enough to vote for him. He knows he’s a one-termer, and it can all be traced back to that moment in time: he sided with a race-baiting token black professor against a professional white officer who had done everything by the book, for no other reason than race.
What a stupid, race baiting, ignorant, fool we have for a leader.
To bad the world see’s it too!
Add Holder’s openly stated refusal to indict “my people” and the last of the illusion is about gone.
Grasshopper one day learn that wisdom scorned, is not wisdom displayed or learned.
Lesson done for today...
Pass.
There was no question as to the 'divide' this man intended and intends. He is building; on the premise that Americans 'world citizens' will come - and fight.
Certainly, Eric Holder's people will be there. . .and Rev. Wright and Ayers and SEIU buds; CAIR and so many more. And, last but NOT least, behind the curtain; Obama and TOTUS-by-Soros. . .
“...and no he is not the anti-christ...he is too pathetically stupid to be so lol.”

Funny you should say this. My wife and i had a conversation on this very topic. She was giving it a sliver of consideration, but I told her: “You’ve got to be kidding, this guy is too F-ing stupid to be filling that role!”
LOL!
You know, I didn’t know Cain was black.
And I seriously couldn’t care less. I’m a fan...
Same pattern as the first time he was campaigning....
Glad the pres has so much time to write a book... No need wasting your time being leader of the free world and all
Colonel West would wipe the floor with him in a debate.
