As he began his second year in office, Obama's presidency was not going well. His legislation to overhaul the healthcare system was still bogged down in Congress. The unemployment rate, which polls showed was the top concern of most Americans, remained stubbornly high at about 10 percent, and much worse in many African-American communities. Obama's job-approval ratings had dropped markedly from the astronomical levels of his first few months to below 50 percent.
Adding to his woes, in January 2010 the race issue erupted again in an unusual and unexpected way. Democratic Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, the Senate majority leader and an Obama ally, was embarrassed because of some racially insensitive comments he had made to John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, the authors of a new book, Game Change, about the Obama campaign. It turned out that Reid had predicted in 2008 that Obama could succeed as an African-American presidential candidate partly because he was "light-skinned" and because he didn't speak with a "Negro dialect."

It might be too early to tell. I would tend to think not- he wants his one billion dollar war chest for 2012, and she would need to compete with that. Plus, with Daley on board, etc. and his supposed “move to the middle”, she wouldn’t offer much of an alternative (save for being slightly less incompetent...).

It may interest you learn, MuBarak Obama, we have tried to enlist notable people to run for the Presidency. It just so happens they are black.
Colin Powell at one time was urged to run. It had nothing to do with his race.
Condoleeza Rice was thought to be a good candidate at one time. It had nothing to do with her race or being a woman.
J.C. Watts was urged to run at one time and he’s an Okie. But, it had nothing to do with his race.
Those three were before anyone ever heard of you or were reminded daily of your race.
In fact, we ran a black guy against you in Illinois by the name of Alan Keyes and it too had nothing to do with his race.
The only common denominator in your constant whining, even though you ascended to the presidency, is you and your frequent quips about your race.
If it weren’t for you I’m not even sure I would know you are black but for your constant complaining.
