US Soldiers Shot Dead At Frankfurt Airport (ROP)

Two US soldiers have been killed in a shooting at Frankfurt airport, Sky sources have said.

Two other people are said to have been injured in the incident and police have reportedly arrested a 21-year-old suspect from Kosovo.

The shots were fired on or near a bus carrying soldiers, according to reports.

Prayers for these soldiers. Since the attacker appears to have been a Muslim, I wonder if this will even be reported in the US.

And I wish people on FR would stop making the stupid Quaker and Amish comments.

It’s not funny. At least two American soldiers are dead - killed by an enemy attacker on a bus on a route to or from their base. There’s nothing funny about this.

He already did: Obama promised that "we will spare no effort" to figure out "how this outrageous attack took place."

We know how it took place and who did it, but I guess somebody told him a comment is better than silence, which was what got him into trouble after the Ft Hood shootings. But don't look for this to go anywhere.

I'm sure the FBI has been called and is already determining that it was just one of those things, a tiff between bus passengers...

This article specifically says claims that “Allahu Akbar” happened haven't been confirmed by the investigators:

It's still unclear what happened. The German's still consider it an act of murder rather than a terror attack. There seemed to an argument on the bus. The suspect shot the soldiers with a pistol either inside the bus or right outside it.

I'm not saying this is true, just what the German media is reporting.

It could be Fox news has newer information.

Regarding the Red Army. Supposedly they disbanded in 1998, via an official announcement. Most members either committed “suicide” in jail, or were killed by law enforcement or military. Of note, they tried to kill Alexander Haig in a mine incident, wound up wounding the following car of bodyguards. The legal review of how they all died in prison, whether suicide or murder, is pretty interesting.
