I learned about her after that weekend and have been listening to her since. In fact, this past weekend, I was going to take a break from politics...yeah, like THAT happened! Listened to podcasts of her show all weekend long!

I lived in Madison for 10 years (1998-2008) and enjoyed listening to Vicki McKenna. I remember once, about 5 years ago, I called Ms. McKenna on "Earth Hour" day; you know, the night when libs want all of us to turn off all our lights to help save the earth. I told her that my wife and I were going to spend that hour "making whoopie", so we could make more conservative children. And to REALLY piss the libs off, we were going to do it with the lights on. She nearly busted-a-gut laughing. She put me on-air, too.
