Eric Holder: Black Panther case focus demeans 'my people'

Attorney General Eric Holder finally got fed up Tuesday with claims that the Justice Department went easy in a voting rights case against members of the New Black Panther Party because they are African American.

Holder's frustration over the criticism became evident during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing as Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) accused the Justice Department of failing to cooperate with a Civil Rights Commission investigation into the handling of the 2008 incident in which Black Panthers in intimidating outfits and wielding a club stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia.

The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.

Eric Holder, soon after taking office, denounced white Americans as "cowards." So whites shouldn't even be here.

I remember Sister Souljah, during her 15 minutes of fame, using the expression "African children" by which she meant black American kids--they weren't "African American" but just plain "African" to her.

Eric Holder knows that he is untouchable because of his race, so he can say whatever he wants without any consequences. It's like having a school bully who happens to be the principal's son.

Well I am not a surf and so I am not one of "his people" or any other government servant's for that matter. However, Holder is a public official and a sworn servant of "the people" so he is the taxpayer's man with an oath to the constitution until he surrenders his office.

I’m not surprised, because I was a teenager in the early 60s and hung out with a lot of black high school kids. The racism wasn’t nearly as hateful as it is today. In fact for a couple of years my best friend was black. A few decades of leftist race mongering has created intense hatred towards whites by black people.

And there it is. As AG of the United States of America, all citizens of America are supposed to be his people, not just the brown ones. In making this statement, Holder has made it perfectly clear that he cannot carry out the duties of his office unless those duties pertain to a certain subset of America.
