And naturally I wish I had bought another few hundred ounces. You NEVER bet enough on a winner.

I bought quite a bit at $12/oz. Should I cash in and buy non-perishable food and bottled water?

The best advice is to get your “beans and bullets” squared away before the silver.

No matter how high silver goes I’m keeping it for backup along with lead. Also increasing our food storage somewhat.

I have a 1921 Morgan silver dollar, nothing unique about except its current melt value is $26.

I don’t know I can’t answer that for you not knowing your financial situation. Don’t you have any of those things now?

About three months worth of food and water, plenty of ammo. I just got my heirloom seeds and winter sowed them. Winter sowing is a first for me, but from what I’ve read it’s so much easier than starting seeds indoors which is what I usually do. The garden will be much bigger this year, and I’m going to can much more than usual.

CNBC Fastmoney BK calls for $130 Silver

Hmmm, CNBC talking up silver = scary and maybe time to sell? If Crammer chimes in, head for the hills!

Assuming you can afford to wait - don’t sell your silver yet.

Wait until after the inevitable 80% devaluation of the dollar, which I believe will happen before your next winter crop.

Someone once here said they were investing in precious metals, silver, lead and brass. A good combination.

I agree. I'm not even tempted to cash in any silver. Mine is in U.S. pre-1965 quarters, so it will be spendable.
