Sadly, you are probably right. That’s why I call the media and other Democrats part of the 0bama Brotherhood.

My husband used to work in union mines in Illinois and Indiana. Trumka was head of the UMW then, and he was known for being a complete thug. Just because he’s put on a suit and tie doesn’t mean he’s any less a thug.

You already know. It’s not about abortion, it’s still money and power. The Democrats find a hot button and push it over and over Racism, homosexual rights, animal rights, environmentalism, taxing the rich, abortion as well as every other issue is nothing but the means for Democrats to get power based on the emotional responses of people who are one issue blind.

Obama and the other socialists are on record as wishing for our gas prices to reach European levels. They are happy for this rise at the pump.

This will only be a good thing for them for a very short period, until they realize how much revenue they’re NOT bringing in.

What polling data was Trumka using for his arguments?

I also can’t stand DNC Dave. He is non-stop yip yip yip and uses Wisc Guv, for example, as a punching bag and prop. But I still, and always will, have the memory of when Dubya poked fun at him for using a French word. Made everyone in press corps (that’s w/o an “e” on the end and silent “s” Bambi..) laugh at Dave.

He also kinda waffled on the questions about (Sarah) not speaking "off script" and directly to the people. HUH?

I just took that as an observation that the GOP - Sarah and all the other presidential candidates - and need to be making more TV appearances on Sunday Talk Shows, or appearances where they are unscripted unlike Obama.

The one thing that is great about Christie is he is smart and he says what he means - Telling the truth is very liberating.

I wish I shared your optimism. I see the case as more of just another con job by big govt.
They will tell the lemmings, who actually pay for SS, that the fund will crash unless they raise the current age and will get away with it,IMHO.

more TV appearances on Sunday Talk Show

Maybe the problem with them on other talk shows...IIRC someone else posted this here or on another thread...is because some are employed by FOX so they can't be on other shows.

After the hats go in the ring, probably in April - May that will most likely change. Then it's either put up or shut up.

I totally agree with you about Christie. I may not like him for several reasons but he speaks his mind and that is refreshing!

Meanwhile over on MTP with DNC Dave at least one of the hidden talking points is:

the U.S. doesn't have a spending problem but a revenue problem

of course the Joker's minions don't have the guts to come out and actually state such but through innuendo and parsing thats' my take.

In other words the regime is saying that 200 billion per month is not nearly enough for them to buy votes with and reelect the Pharaoh.

They need the full 300 billion per month which is their current spending level.

Printing 100 billion per month in soon to be worthless dollars means nothing to the regime.

Its all BS but many will fall for it.

Anwar is down to about 600k per day from 2 mill. It could come back with more drilling but the enviro Marxists have it blocked for now.

Baaken gets bigger every day IMHO.

Its definitely a plan to tank the economy, redistribute more wealth, to say... the Mideast... can't begin to imagine why--300 million in campaign contributions will buy a lot of favors evidently.

He also needs $150 per barrel oil for wind and solar to look better although he knows they will never be more than a very small fraction of what the country needs.

All that spells destroying us in favor of others=redistribution and the long term demise of the U.S. ,IMHO.

Absolutely. Obama shows his alien-ness more every day.

He’s just not an American as we think of it.

Check out his singing of the song accompanying the opening credits of Major League about the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, he most likely wrote it. A real talent.

How do you know these guys are so slick rod?

I will give you and example using energy.

To begin with zero and the enviros have blocked nearly every feasible means of energy we have.

That is slick. Then to do that and get elected as well, you have to be three steps ahead all the time.

We can't drill, are not getting nat. gas which is a non- polluter,no nukes, nothing, its all off line!!

He uses the envrio Marxists to do his bidding and then still cons enough people into voting for him1!

Now if that its not slick (and you have to be ahead of the game, IMHO to do this kind of crap) what is?
