ridiculous electric cars.

They are a hoot, aren't they?

I'd buy one as a spare for my Jeep.

All I know is that Gov Nikki Hallie pretty much answered the Sarah Palin question as I had predicted she would.

She could have said Sarah Palin would make a great President, I do not know if she is running, but she would certainly be on the top of my list. Then she could have added what she said on Meet the Depressed

He knew they would ask for more. This is why he didn’t want to have them given an excuse by bringing up the right to work bill early.

Daniels isn’t stupid, nor is he a loudmouth. He will quietly go about getting things done. Since our side seems to prefer the louder types, I am sure he won’t be a candidate.

He is not a fool. WE are in the black, here in Indiana. He already prohibited bargaining by executive order (since that is how it was allowed), and he has reduced taxes and privatized a lot of government functions. He also is constantly drumming up business for the state.

He has been an excellent governor, the best in my lifetime.

It’s unfortunate that our country now seems to need TALKERS rather than DOERS. Daniels is a doer, but he doesn’t have the appearance to play a candidate on TV.

Christie lost me forever when he came out and endorsed Mike Castle.

Maybe it’s because I’m from Delaware.....-

Social Security is insolvent NOW!

For sure. That "lockbox" with hundreds of billions in it contains only notes for government debt, as the government has already spent the money and replaced it with it's own worthless paper.

If a private company attempted such a Ponzi scheme, the owner and executives would long ago have been in jail. This is a million times worse than anything Bernie Maddoff ever did. It affects everybody large and small, not just a few big-bucks suckers.

I will reserve judgment as to how much of this has to do with democracy versus a sinister hand behind what is happening, i.e., the MB. These "revolutions" are just in their nascent stages. It will take a while to play out and see what forces emerge from the chaos, which, unlike in Iraq, we have very little influence to control. What replaces Ghadaffi, Mubarak, etc. may be far worse for our national interests.

Agree.M

New MB Slogan: "Never let a 'revolution' go to waste."

Didn't Lenin say that first?

The left gets rabid over him. Agreed he is not a social conservative. I’m not pushing him as presidential timber. What he has done in NJ is an amazing accomplishment, and helped set the stage for WI and other states.

His endorsement of Castle WAS wrong. He’s not perfect. See my previous post.

"I know but that’s no excuse for the various reporting to ignore the situation. I also agree with drill here, drill now and even that isn’t mentioned. Makes me wonder how bad it has to be before these people wake up and address the cost of rising prices?"

Never. They are either useful idiots who will follow Zero to their own destruction or willful saboteurs who want to turn the US into a soviet collective with themselves as the elite rulers.

Of course, they did. What did he expect?! It worked the first time, fool!

I doubt there will be any more negotiating, or meeting any of the dem's demands, from here on out.

The SSTF is included as part of the $14 trillion national debt held under “Intragovernmental Holdings.” It represents an unfunded liability.

Well said! I do not dislike the man at all, just I would hate for us to compromise because of the debt situation. So many Conservatives such as Coulter are suggesting we put the social issues on the back burner.

Once the social issues... Abortion/pro family values are put on the back burner, then there is no reason to be involved.

Get ready for union thug, Richard Trumka, suited up like he
doesn’t reek of filth as Obama’s co-conspirator and enforcer, on this farce show and networked owned by Obama media tool and facilitator, GE.

He actually had the chutzpah to cajole Barbour, saying

it’s not only Madison, folks should take note of the
‘momentum’ building across the country ...

AS IF his union comrades’ millions and thug networks aren’t fomenting, funding, busing and causing riots and said ‘momentum.’

No perfumed pig fake exemplifies today’s dangerous mafia
Don more than this despicable power-hungry, greedy and
vicious subversive.

I think that you could blend the social issues and the fiscal issues into one theme: Responsibility.

I am still not understanding why the pro-choice people are so determined to push abortion for any reason at any time. It’s like they LOVE abortion. It’s rather creepy, if you ask me.
