“Progressive” is the pan-Leninist one world code name for “Communist”.

So why not defund it?

Why should conservatives fund progressives who are destroying our country?

Ed Schultz just said that "the Republicans are trying to DEFUND the progressive movement".

Well, if the progressive movement is trying to fund itself from public funds, they should be defunded.

Ding ding ding! Why do y’all think that the Democratics have chosen this hill to die on (meaning the public sector unions)? Because that’s a huge source of their power and money. If the GOP manages to choke off that supply of money and influence, they know their going to have a lot more difficult time.

BTW watch out for that squall line. It had a little fun on our Rutherford, Wilson line.

You, sir, are indeed a patriot.

That's because the socialists have been working like busy bees trying to defund taxpayers. The worm is (hoprefully) turning.

So is Schulz admitting that the unions are the nexus of the ‘Progressive Movement’?

“damned Democrat’s Socialist “Progressive” movement”

Let’s just be careful and not let the GOP swing towards a “damned Republican Fascist “Progressive” movement.

Good and precise point. . .that might escape Ed's attention; especially given that he himself, is probably funded by our taz moneies; in some way. . .somehow. Unless, Soros just paying his way. Whatever, these people are parasitic, by habit.

"Ed Schultz just said that "the Republicans are trying to DEFUND the progressive movement"

Well, of course. The Legal Aid Society gets $1 billion dollars a year and it is used specifically to advocate for leftist causes in Federal and State courts. Planned Parenthood, NPR, PBS,and more also count as examples.

During the 1994 Republican revolution, Newt Gingrich mentioned "defunding the left" and he failed. The MSM went into overdrive and destroyed him -- it took 4 years, but they succeeded.

I always thought the best strategy, since then, would be to "starve" the left by draconian cuts, each year, that erode away and finally kill these programs. Because pulling the plug failed so dramatically previously.

this is a question they can’t answer.. if it’s such a good idea and so many people want it, why do they need the government to fund them? same with NPR and PBS.. when I watch the PBS station with my kids, they have commercials, why do we need to keep funding them if they already have commercials?
