Shift is going well.. plenty of staff.
Cough has flared up again.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on the homework!
Drive safe & I hope it doesn’t keep you up too late!
Howdy, Taz! (((hugs)))
Are you recuperated from all that hard garden work?
Guess what!! One of the daffodils was bloomin’ like crazy today! :)
It's underway LOL.
I am just the anchor.
I cant wait to see them all.
Are they coming home...or are you finally going over there?
Hooray for your daffodils.
I’m much more better than yesterday.
They are coming home.
It will be best this way for the girls.
It has been difficult to make a living with prejudice over there for all of them.
They did wonderful things, but America offers more.
I told them it is not a grand time here now, but I know it its worse in most of the world now.
It always has been as long as we have been here.
Obama sure gives that idea short shrift..
Still, I think they need to be here.
I’m glad they are coming home.
The world is nuts out there and getting more so.
BTW the boss retires to Thailand this week. His party is in 2 days.
I am happy for him but have trepidation about world events.
He is no stranger to the place. He is a grown up.
We will figure something out.
Maybe we can deal with Obama in a couple of years and meanwhile,
you are right. They need to be where they can maximize their
opportunities as young women. I think it’s time for them to
have a break. Are they coming to Texas or back to the home state?
I think they’d love it here, but then, what do I know. :)
That’s what your family is for..haul together when the load is heavy.
Thailand is a wonderful place to visit, but it is wearing
on the nerves and the heat is oppressive. I had friends living
there who I visited. They were worn out by the time they moved
back to the states. Nearly all of them had been through being
sick or just flat worn out by the noise and heat. They were
missionaries and took in abandoned children in an orphanage.
The northern part...or the southern beaches are probably the
most livable. Ching Mai is wonderful...as are Pataya or Puket (sp).
Where is he going to live?
Texas.
I dont know what we will do here, but we will have more success here than in India.
We have our fair share of BS, but not like there.
The only thing that bothers me is I would have liked to take motorcycles though that part of the world, just once.
:)
It will be interesting how they settle into a new land
I am not 100% certain. I Think it was near Phuket, but more rural.
His wife is from there. He has been going on visits for ages, but visits and day to day life dont always line up
The world over, we tend to up the ante for visitors.
Have the girls always been in India?
Will the West shock their sensibilities?
You saw what happened today with the 2 couples in somalia.
Texas is way better.
Indian teens are just like our teens.
All they think about is movies and clothes.
I actually think they are for an inverse shock here *this is the Bible belt*
Our kids are the same way but it is a different dress.
Gotta aim them to the level headed types
Home safe and sound....stopped for gas...3.579, up $.10 in 2 days. almost froze my hands off.
Did you have a safe commute? No incidents? *HUGS*
