The Wisconsin workers who have staged a week-long protest against their union-busting governor are getting some Big Apple reinforcements.
Teamsters Local 237, which represents various city workers, intends to bus a couple hundred members to Madison possibly this week, Deputy Director Pete Gutierrez told The Daily News.

“BEGIN THE LAYOFFS NOW!
No compromise, no more talk, no more time.”
They could also just divest the State Government of its contributions to public education all together, let the local governments take over completely.
Then they will start the lay offs. Still anther option is to switch to a fully school voucher system and let the public unionized schools go belly up, as more and more of the students(and share of money) go to private schools.
RE: Dont these people ever work?
I was wondering the same thing but most likely they are Rats on the public dole.
That will ferret out me - and I live in Wisconsin.
Good. I like both of those approaches.
Liberals see states as just a political division of power, lower than and subservient to, the Federal power.
That is why they absolutely go bananas when someone uses the term “states rights”. To them, a state has no “rights”, only the obligation to serve the will of the Federal government...
The actual article that’s embedded in your link lies through it’s teeth, claiming that the union would be giving up collective bargaining rights for wages.
Get ready... modeled on Egypt, Wisconsin, etc, the Lib union organizers are making notes... and this is exactly what any Repub Prez elected in 2012 is going to be bombarded with from all over the country 24/7 after election. I hope he/she is ready to deal with it firmly and expeditiously. Otherwise, these worthless bastids are more than willing to bring down the entire country in order to try to further their selfish gains.
You only now are discovering that the unions are liars?
Might be a good thing that they are spending so much money (even if it is our taxes) because that leaves them less to spend on the next election for the dems.
You're right, the repeal of ObamaCare is when "rubber is gonna' meet the road".
By that time, they'll be prepared for anything because first, there'll be deep cuts into Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. All of these welfare programs are on a conveyor belt and heading for the choppers.
Yes enter the thugs with the bent nose.
These people are "The ENEMY within!"
They are showing us what they really are and what they want = ANIMAL FARM where they are more "equal" than all of us other/lesser "animals".
If Americans do not take a stand against them, the Republic will fall and America as it has existed from it's founding will be no more, replaced instead by a Socialist, Communist, Marxist, Islamic "state".
The unionized government employee in Texas had a candle light vigil for their Wisconsin counter parts...
Ain't no way I'm spending 5 minutes in downtown Sacramento at night.
Just a couple of days ago a news crew got attacked in broad daylight while trying to report on a story about a murder that occurred in Sacramento a few days earlier.
Solidarity rally for workers tonight
Cuts in the state budget led to rally
AUSTIN (KXAN) - While Texas lawmakers try and figure out where to make cuts in order to balance the budget - public education could take a big hit.
It’s an issue being dealt with in other states like Wisconsin where teachers have been on strike the last week.
Monday night at 6:45 there is a candlelight vigil to show solidarity with state employees in that state.

In any event, there are over paid government employees in every state, city, county and town in the U.S.
New York is a disease. Glad I left, hope the entire state dies.
Amazed that they find time between coffee breaks, lunch hours and vacations to protest.
I can’t help but wonder who’s doing all the work in New York while these guys are taking time off....
That depends on what your definition of work is. If work is something efficient and production, never. If it is wasting your employers time and money, while accomplishing nothing, then they work 24/7/365.
