Republican Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, confronted with thousands of protesters outside of the state capitol in Madison, says it would be wise for the president to stay out of his states business.
I think were focused on balancing our budget, Walker said on Fox News Friday morning. It would be wise for the president and others in Washington to focus on balancing their budget, which they are a long ways from doing.
The governor just a mere six weeks into his job added that he is not threatened by the agenda of Washington politicians. We're not going to be intimidated by people coming in from outside of Wisconsin trying to tell us what we need to do to balance our budget, Walker said. The bottom line is, we got elected to do a job.
For days, Wisconsins union members have been demonstrating against legislation proposed by Walker last week that aims to reduce the power of public sector unions and cut into members paychecks. But Walker continued to insist that his decision is not about degrading public employees.

Really. States have rights. Federalis don’t.
GTH Obsamabama.
It was extremely stupid of Obama to speak on the side of the demonstrators. It’s not a popular position and Walker shoved it up his rear end.
Good!
Every elected politician at the Federal level need to learn the term “it is a states issue” and just butt out.
It is just that they are so full of themselves they can never STFU.
If ya know what I mean.
I harp on the federal debt ceiling. If we stop raising it, the federal government will be unable to do much of anything except pay down debt and fund the military. We would go back to limited federal government, as it was meant to me. The Republicans in the House can do this, if they have the stones.
This guy, Walker, is getting to look like Presidential material.
You got that right!
I like this guy. Didn’t know a thing about him until this week, but I like him.
It would be wise for the president and others in Washington to focus on balancing their budget, which they are a long ways from doing.
!
Yeah, baby! Scott Walker, America's Governor!
Obama: “I believe the governor has acted stupidly.”
I love this man.
Whooaaa Nelly.
Six weeks in office does not make one Presidential material. As seen in the past, even the impressive amount of 155 days in the U.S. Senate doesn’t make a President either.
Yeah, OBAMA... BUTT OUT you Kenyan turd.
After all, being unafraid of communists, bullies, and tyrants is an admirable quality. Couple that with his fiscal Conservatism, and I gotta tell ya... I'm lookin'.
Obama just can’t stand to keep his trap shut, and the more he comments on the issues the more he sticks his foot in his mouth. Obamas like the shepherd boy that kept on yelling wolf. Pretty soon nobody will pay any attention to the One’s blatherings at all.
Walker has been in an actual leadership position 6 weeks longer than obama. He ought to remind obama that.
