Report: O.J. Simpson brutally beaten in prison

O.J. Simpson's been an afterthought since he went to prison, but a report today that he was brutally beaten by skinheads in his prison cell has him back in the media spotlight.

The National Enquirer, which gained noticeable sports cred when they broke the Tiger Woods scandal, reports that Simpson was "beaten unconscious in a brutal prison yard attack" and is now so messed-up mentally that he can't leave his cell.

"Unfortunately for O.J., a group of young skinhead punks were within earshot - and they were enraged," Bruce Fromong, a former business partner of Simpson's told the Enquirer.

The Enquirer's report indicates that Simpson decided to "brag about his sexual conquests of beautiful white women" and that didn't sit to well with a group of "white supremacists."

Simpson, now 63-years-old is apparently "afraid to venture out of his cell" following the reported attack.

Unfortunately, Simpson is probably a long shot to garner much sympathy for his situation, which says a lot about what he did to end up in the Nevada Correctional Center.

If something like this had happened about the time he was, say, 14 or so, his life may have turned out a lot different.

Part of the problem, I think, is that he was courted and petted on account of his athletic prowess, and given free passes for any transgressions he may have committed at an early age.

While this report of OJ being beaten may or may not be true, the fact is he deserves whatever he gets.

I only ask because the same thing is often said concerning 1% Motorcycle Clubs, and I know from firsthand personal experience that it is not true.

I would believe the Enquirer before I would believe CBS. The Enquirer has an institutional terror of libel suits, and so generally gets iron clad confirmation before it runs a story—far more than other media in the US.

And combine that with prisons generally denying that uncontrolled acts of violence happen in them. That would open them up to lawsuits.

Been harrassed by a few, moshed with them, best friend’s brother was involved in a hate gang and I was also threatened by one. I also ride and I have neighbors that ride, and I hear stories from people in the local bike shop.
