TUESDAY MIDDAY--- BREAKING NEWS ON OBAMACARE REPEAL:
The House Rules Committee has rejected Rep. Steve King's proposal to FULLY DEFUND ObamaCare, failing to agree to "protect" King's amendment when it comes to the House floor.
Bottom line -- Republicans on the Rules Committee refused to play hardball to fully defund ObamaCare. By doing so, they are allowing Pelosi's "mandatory" self-funding provisions -- which many say are unconscionable if not unconstitutional -- to stand! This will force this Congress to approve most of the funding for ObamaCare.
FoxNews says King's provision would "cripple all government operations devoted to executing the health law."
DEBATE BEGINS THIS AFTERNOON.
Bleating blatting John will never come through. He thinks its business as usual, and this Heath Care bill is just another little bill which they must tinker with and act as bi partisan gentlemen.
To bad. If the bill is not defunded, then we will have violence over it.
This is what this whole failure of The GOP means. They refuse the will of the people?Very bad news.
The GOP will not win the next presidential contest if they do not defund. Their base will simply stay home and let things get far worse. A horrible thing, but a phenomenon of the modern consevative voter which makes no sense, but it happens.Once the conservative base gets fed up beyond a certain point,it seems they just opt out.Maybe this is what the GOP is countig on? Nothing else as to why they fail to defund makes any sense! They have the power and will not use it.
But such a bill would have to be approved in the senate and then signed into law, where as spending and appropriations are the business of the House.
If they don’t defund this, I am ready whenever everybody else is to march on congress and the WH, NOT peacefully, and remove all of those people from OUR buildings, throw them into the streets, and start all over.

Agree 100%. I’m ready any time.
“This needs to be addressed by the States, not congress!”
Indeed. I see everyone here screaming and yelling when our main forces should be pouring into the states to fight the Washington fascists from the states. Screaming at these traitorous jackasses in Washington is a waste of time.
We just elected more than 700 patriots to the state legislatures and completely took over 26 states. We need to be in our states firing volleys and starting 10,000 brushfires that the criminal fascists in Washington have neither the manpower nor resources to extinguish. Doing that will demoralize and exhaust our enemies, while at the same time perfecting our future actions.
The states are our best political base to take on the traitors in DC. Expecting the enemy to change because we call or march is counterproductive. We need to be in our states, supporting patriot state legislators and preparing for battle.
Too many people are mis-focused.The Founders left us a blueprint of how to take on a totalitarian dictatorship. One of the critical factors is securing a political base. For us, as with the Founders, that base is the states.
We need to be setting up committees of safety (look it up), picking territory and fights where we take a stand, and not letting the enemy pick it, and bringing new patriots into our movement.
We have a hell of a lot of work to do. And as you said: This needs to be addressed by the states, not congress.
Great perception on your part.
Agree 100%.
I’ll add that I’m tired of Freepers sticking up for pols, any pols, including Palin, as if any of them are the second coming of Christ.
They need to look in themselves for the strength to do what we know we need to do.
You are so right. This is why we have primaries BUT I have no use for those who claim we should vote all of them out because Steve King is my congressman and I'll fight to keep him there as long as I can.
Defund then repeal or Secession...
NON F’ING NEGOTIABLE...
Did FR reponse slow down? You hit the post button threes times.
The problem is they promised to defund it. I see their problem but they sghouldnt have promised to get elected.
It just sat there not updating. Sorry about that. Just one of those starnge computer things.
I think they should not fund it, to hell with the law. Let the rats force the issue instead of just obediently following the rats’ commandant. The ocommie administration was found in contempt of court by a federal judge over the oil drilling permits just two weeks ago. Do they care? Hell no. Still no permits. I say ‘eff ‘em. It’s more important that deathcare not get implemented than the little reputations of a handful of committee members.
Well see its like this you have to draw the line somewhere.... and the point that was made perfectly clear last summer was that there is absolutely no such thing as a moderate Democrat, that blue dog crap is fake as Obama is.
When Bart Stupak the supposed “Pro Life” Democrat caucus leader folded on Obama care he made my point crystal clear.
On the other Hand, RINO’s are a bit more useful to Conservatives because they can be trained and molded and if they go off the reservation they can be primary challenged and that is exactly what we have begun doing, sure this will take time but my hope is that some of the wavering Republicans can still be shown the light all we have to do is give them the Specter choice.
I think we've been doing that with the Hyde Amendment for decades.
There's some wisdom of sticking such things in other bills of a more permanent character ~ alas, Democrat Presidents, and Democrat controlled Senates are always willing to let that legislation die.
I think the answer is STICK IT IN BOTH appropriations bills and regular legislation ~ every single stinking little piece of it!
The legislative sweetener that'll get even Obama to go along with it is to send him an appropriations bill that cuts deeper than any Democrat could imagine ~ I'm thinking a $1.2 trillion cut ~ maybe more ~ and it eliminates EVERYTHING they've argued we need for the last 60 years.
Or, they can sign on to the other bills with our preferred legislation first.
That'll probably leave Louise Slaughter with her panties in a bunch ~ if she even wears panties.
You knew that they would. The election is over. Get back under the porch and stay there until we need you next election.
They can do anything they damn well please.Who or what is going to stop them? It damn sure is not the Constitution.
Conservatives take to the streets? The only time Conservatives will take to the streets is on the way to the camps with armed guards on each side and front and rear.
1. But has another source reported this?
2. Has anybody ever heard of Grassfire Nation?
3. Here is a link to Grassfire Nation ^ the current issue. You will note that there is no such report!
Just now?! It's been clear for a very, very long time. C'mon, you're class of '98, we're supposed to know better!
Can't trust the establishment R's anymore than you can trust them low-down dirty POS Democrats...
