TUESDAY MIDDAY--- BREAKING NEWS ON OBAMACARE REPEAL:

The House Rules Committee has rejected Rep. Steve King's proposal to FULLY DEFUND ObamaCare, failing to agree to "protect" King's amendment when it comes to the House floor.

Bottom line -- Republicans on the Rules Committee refused to play hardball to fully defund ObamaCare. By doing so, they are allowing Pelosi's "mandatory" self-funding provisions -- which many say are unconscionable if not unconstitutional -- to stand! This will force this Congress to approve most of the funding for ObamaCare.

FoxNews says King's provision would "cripple all government operations devoted to executing the health law."

You’re right of course. And it is a terrific idea. The only thing I was thinking of is that it is easy to ‘ignore’ us if we are gathered anywhere else but DC.

I’m willing to go to DC. I’m self employed and things are very slow right now (even if they weren’t, on this, I’d be willing to drop all).

It is getting down to the wire; do they work for us or are we now forever enslaved? We must reassert our authority.

How would a modern American man stop funding the government?

While I do fear for what Egypt's new government will be...their "strike" stopped the economic wheels of their country.

Is America too big to do the same? One day isn't going to get anyone's attention.

If something like this didn't do it...and all the little stops in between to get there...

The only option we have is to make the economic wheels stop! The question is how?

If Union workers can go on strike why can't the business owners? Picket lines formed in front of "open" businesses after all the others shut-down.

Do it major city by major city every day. First NYC, then DC, Orlando, Chicago, LA, Houston.... each city shut-down and staying shut-down slowly creeping across the country.

We have to stop the money flow. Stop the auto deductions from paychecks...

Is that possible? Literally stop auto-deducting government taxes and on the employee stub state it is the employee's responsibility to send in the taxes.

Now if you bother to read my comment at the beginning you would have seen that it was posted for ‘informational’ purposes only. Rep King: we brought a bill to the Rules Committee and asked them to help make it abide by the rules and the Rules Committee just rejected it rather than help us

Thank you for the information. I just got off the phone talking with a man at the rules committee. He explained that Rep. King's ammendment was grandstanding and was against the rules. I told him go to Red State blog because they debunk this. He then said the are going to be lots of opportunities and they did pass the repeal.

My response was do you think we are idiots in the heartland? I stressed they've got 2 years. We elected them to end obamacare.

He said "we have to follow the rules". I just laughed and said like the Rats did when they passed obamacare?

I had planned to move to East Europe if things got out of hand but the loser gov there is importing 55 million Africans and Middle Easterners so where is my family able to go?

This needs to be addressed by the States, not congress! I hand delivered a letter urging Pam Bondi( Florida Attorney General) to go back to Judge Vinson and ask for a restraining order since the federal government is ignoring Vinsons ruling. I urge all of you to do the same! Start local and work your way up! Time is of the essence.

Yep, they called me this past week...and even after I stated I’d be donating to candidates independant of the party...and why...she continued to read her “script” and asked for less money. Astounding me I told her...and then you people wonder why we aren’t funding you anymore...You’re not listening anymore than you did to what I just told you...and if you won’t listen to me in the means I intend to donate then why should I believe the party is going to hear any of us on the big issues.

I’m not sure that just a ‘march’ is going to do the trick.

It would have to be targeted at the Republicans to get their act together and fight for what we asked them to. So I really don't see that that would work either without the Democrates using it to their advantage................ I keep hoping the republicans know something we don't and have a plan to dump the whole mess....but I'm beginning to think it's wishful thinking rather than hope on my part.

The only thing that is economically holding this country up is the flow of money, credit, mortgage payments, and the taxes withheld.

It would take people striking from working, not paying their mortgage, and the upping of deductions on pay. And maybe a run on the banks. There isn’t very much cash around, either.

That would stop the government.

The question would be, what would they do if all that happened??

And are Americans mad enough yet to do ALL of this in enough numbers?
