I watched the live feed of Egypt’s demonstrations on al-Jazeera. It’s available on the internet for those who want it. Cable companies should not carry it, because that creates a situation in which those who do not want it are then forced to pay for it anyway.

If the FCC succeeds in regulating the airwaves, cable TV and the Internet, our only choices might be NPR, a Government propaganda channel and Al Jazeera. What ever happened to market demand? I’m sure Al Jazeera would have even lower ratings than MSMBC.
