Great. Just when the idiots in Ohio are planning to screw up Lake Erie with a bunch of these navigational hazards, the Canadians figure out they're a waste.

Turns out there just isnt enough scientific evidence that offshore wind projects do a lick of good, said Brad Duguid, the energy minister...with the global collapse of all credibility of the man-made global warming hoax, the enviro-dilettantes no longer have any leverage to push their job- and economy-destroying green agenda......

It looks like Ontario has figured out how STUPID wind projects are. A decade ago they figured out how STUPID it is to (virtually) sell off a highway (Route 407) to a foreign company, and have not repeated that IDIOTIC mistake.
However, in the interest of never letting a STUPID idea die, the star of CPAC did the same with the Indiana Toll Road (to the same company, nonetheless) when he was governor there...and now the people of North Indiana will have to pay for his STUPIDITY for generations.

That's why I'm not overly worried about the environuts here in America. There agenda is so radical and damaging that it's unsustainable politically. Of course that won't stop the left from trying.

"Gee, now wouldnt you think the government would have checked out the science before insisting wind power was the way of the future? Or maybe they could have paid attention during a fifth grade science class? Humm, maybe we should still teach science instead of pottery and self esteem 101? We have idiots making scientific decisions here in the USA as well. Here we also have CEO's of billion dollar utilities feeding at the green troth as well.

I think the difference between wind and solar is that solar has a clear path to efficency ratios that will make it an extremely viable energy player, even if it’s 10 or 20 years out from now.
