President Obama watched Hosni Mubarak's speech to Egyptians from the conference room on Air Force One, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs tells the pool. Obama is now headed to the White House for a meeting with his national security team, moments after Mubarak said he wouldn't step down but that he had given some powers to his vice president.

Nervous finger?
Buggy software, I think.

Someone on Twitter says Obama is going to speak again. Oh, he got all wee-wee’d up and can’t refrain from making himself look even more dumb?

And that solid commentary you made is EXACTLY what an intelligent press, an unbiased press bent on logic and fact and NOT trying to make news or carry water for that big eared, blue lipped child in our WH, would have been reporting all along.

One thing is for sure-his ineptness screams out everytime he jumps in front of a camera to slicker up a prior idiot comment with more vague crap. What a loser.

Don’t forget the Olympics debacle, too. He’s got the excrement touch, everything he touches turns to $hit.

Mubarak is either delusional or very confident . His statement today was a classic psychological sucker punch to the opposition which will produce real rage. Perhaps the armed forces leadership have signed on and there are enough reliable units to be able to try what the Shah never would or could bring himself to try e.g. Tianamen Square cubed. If this is not the case the only effect will be to increase the already significant influence of the MB as real chaos now is unleashed. It should be interesting to watch which ever way events fall.

Until next year, then we can throw this bum out! :) I don't think we have that long.
Hopefully I'm really, really wrong.
Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.
