New Speaker of the House JOHN BOEHNER is embroiled in a bombshell sex scandal - involving at least two different women, The ENQUIRER has learned!
Capitol Hill insiders and political bloggers have been buzzing about an upcoming New York Times probe - detailing an alleged affair that the 61-year-old married father of two had with pretty Washington lobbyist LISBETH LYONS.
And an ENQUIRER investigation has uncovered a bedroom encounter that Boehner - second in line of succession to the presidency - allegedly had with LEIGH LaMORA, a 46-year-old former press secretary to ex-Colorado Congressman JOEL HEFLEY.
The Ohio native, a congressman for 20 years, and his wife Deborah, 62, have been married for 37 years.

After carefully reading the article, I doubt the Enquirer has anything here.
The one “alleged affair” suposedly took place in 1997.
A Google search shows that chatter about the “upcoming NY Times probe” going back to at least 9/24/10. If they had something on him, I have to think it would be out by now.
The Enquirer doesn’t seem to be reporting anything new at all, just recyling an old rumor. There doesn’t even seem to be any indication of a specific accuser, either on or the record or anonymous, only a rumor about an “upcoming” NY Times story.
At this point, this looks like a smear, along the lines of the recent Todd Palin smear in the NE.
This is gonna make Boehner cry ... again.

Exactly...people are getting worked up over old news. The Enquirer is just trying to throw fuel on the smoldering embers of this story.
I say, resign as speaker now if you are guilty. Do not take us through a scandal and all the denials.

I just love - not - how so many Freepers are willing to assume the worst right out of the gate.
That's exactly the reason these hit pieces are floated - they know the majority of idiots will believe whatever makes it to print.
FR used to be a bit above that. Most FR’s used to hold their fire until more information was presented = and PROVED = before throwing another stick on the fire. (Yesterday, he went to the WH and 'talked' with 'bummer. 'bummer did not like what he said. "bummer 'gets' even with anyone who dares to confront him - it's been his modus operandi for years - it's how he got into the Illinois senate. Yet NONE of you suspect this might be a deliberate hit piece - even an old one drudged up. Nope, you jump right on their bandwagon. meh
They are coming after the Republicans with a vengeance. Why can’t these guys keep their penis in their pants?
If it’s true, and it’s ok with Mrs. Boehner than it’s ok with me. At least he isn’t getting serviced by interns in his office, like Clinton and Gingrich did.
