He didnt know what she looked like, for all he knew he was snapping photos for a babe and she might have looked like Rosie ODonut.Or a gay little twit like Obama.

How dumb is this..a craigslist date? I think this was an “I want out” call for help or some sort of a “we need you out” setup. Nobody is that dumb. I find this very hard to take at face value.

Un-frickin’ real. I can only imagine how pissed off this reprobate’s constituents must feel tonight, especially those who just financed his reelection campaign. What the hell was he thinking?
While I’m glad to see him go, it’s just hard to believe that any Congressman would deliberately nova his career like this in such a public way. He was sitting on the Ways and Means Committee this very morning!
At least the trash took itself out, and he is gone, effective right now. They have to have a special election back in his district now, and that ain’t cheap these days.
Just shakin’ my head over this one....

I find what he did less offensive than what the last Congress did to this country by passing Obamacare.

I agree with you. In this case, the link is to the authoritative source for the story.

I was telling my husband about this and asked “where was his brain that he would do something this stupid?”.
My husband said “I imagine it was somewhere below his belt.”.

Perks, Power and the perception of privilege.....I think those who have the confidence in themselves to go before an audience (actors) or who stand before voters (politicians) tend to also be more sexually driven.
It is an interesting study in psychology of humans.

Carl Cameron on Fox is crowing about this. Claiming this demishes Rep control.
Yet when Rangel et al were caught with their hands in the til, well isn’t that sad.
He did mention that Boehner said there would be Zero tolerance for any of this kind of shenanigans.

Call him weak. But any man purporting to be of pure thoughts, words, and deeds can call themselves liars.
