New York City (CNN) -- I want this article to break your heart. But it deals with a subject that has had a tough time of it in the break-everyone's-heart department.

Larry doesn't even know what a "fact" is.
Actually it was allowed to spread.
If it wasn’t for a bunch of leftist morons; everyone with the disease would have been quarantined when it was first identified. It would not have spread and we would not be dealing with it today.
That is how they handle any other contagious disease.
If people went around sticking forks in electrical sockets, would we have to cut the power off?
Another example of why bowing to the idol of political correctness is deadly.
Yup. Sorry about your lost months, but it points up the hypocrisy of the "AIDS apologists" very well. AIDS is a plague today because of the failure of the medical profession to use the correct tools in the face of "political correctness". I was outraged at the time (start of AIDS) and still am that the politicians let/caused this to happen.
Yes, AIDS was allowed to happen...
Way back before HIV was identified, there was an epidemic of Ameobic infections, syphillis, and hepatitis B among the gays who were having anonymous and frequent sexual encounters of all sorts in San Francisco bath houses.
Usually in the past, such places were shut down by the public health department, but when they tried to do that, the gays held a referendum to remove the mayor. Voila, the bath houses were kept open.
A few years later, gays started dying of weird infections, and it turned out to be from HIV.
If the public health department had shut down these places, the HIV epidemic would have been much less severe.
Of course, they could also have banned “Patient X” from the US when he was found to be spreading disease. One third of the early cases of HIV were attributed to this French canadian flight attendant or someone he infected.
Indeed, it was allowed to happen by men who put their penises where I wouldn’t put the tip of my umbrella.
No. AIDS was allowed to happen because it wasnt treated like any other fatal, communicable disease. The infected were not quarantined...
As a result, Cuba does not have an AIDS problem.
The boys that allow other boys to put their pee pees in their bo bos let it happen.
AIDS is, like, so ‘80s.
Ah, well, but for American liberals there are no problems outside the United States that the United States did not cause.
Ergo, Cuba doesn’t count.
Homosexual Urges Blood Donors to Lie

Nice way to thin the population of perverts. Unfortunately, the homos were allowed to spread this scourge into the hetero population, completely unhindered by the laws protecting the public health.
Such people who advocate lying about their eligibility to donate should be tried for attempted murder. But this will never happen; as special as they are.
“drugs that only keep us living but still infected just enough to continue to possibly still infect others.”
Thanks for going to the link and bringing back those items. Personally, I don’t want to take the risk of an infection by going there myself.
In this phrase, he first admits that he is infected and then admits to not being personally responsible enough to not stop spreading it to others. So he advocates stealing money from me to subsidize his lifestyle. Typical collectivist enemy of our great republic.
“Underlying Larry Kramers screed is the seething, under-the-surface fiction that AIDS was created by the government for population control.”
So shouldn’t the liberals be all for it? What better way to worship ghia than to ensure that human impact is reduced?
Unfortunately, diseases and perverse behaviors now have “civil rights.”
