Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities

The DC Metroland weather report

~ Today... Mostly sunny this morning...Then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s. South winds around 5 mph.

~ Tonight...Rain...Mainly after midnight. Lows in the lower 30s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Friday, yipeee!

Overall it was a pretty uneventful week in the office.

Can't say the same for other places around the world.

Hope and pray it calms down soon.

Which brings me to this: we really, really need to get out of depending on foreign oil. On the way to work I noticed a few gas stations have already jumped their price up by 5 cents this week alone.

All I can say is OUCH! It hurts me just to look at them.
Thank God I never felt the need to do something like that. LOL

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't leave the room...I'll be bock!

Remember, the Canteen is

Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM

DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

We were lucky. We were one of the lucky ones that kept everything. Still had 3/4 cord of wood, lots of woolies, and heavy quilts.

Right now it's 16 degrees out.

It's Friday Beachie!!

Warmish, clear weather here continues, I like it!

I'm going to a friends house on the Oregon coast on Sunday to watch the Superbowl; maybe a little beachcombing to boot!

You going to watch the big game?

Have a restfulicious weekend!

Good morning, Pro ((HUGS))

I might watch the game...You know, I heard that neither team has a cheerleader squad. I volunteered but they told me they weren't interested. Do you think it's age discrimination? (hehe)

I think Mr. Beachy is going to abandon me to go to his sister/BIL's house. I won't go if there will be a big crowd cause they have a small house and it gets way too noisy for me - makes me feel claustrophobic.

Warmish, clear weather here continues, I like it!

I'm so jealous...boo hoo...

Hope you have a good time watching the game and beachcombing (waaaaa).

Have a funtastic weekend.

Good morning and ((HUGS)) EG. All is well. Counting the minutes until quitting time. Can’t wait for warm weather, either. I now know why older people move to warmer climates.

Howz it going out your way?

((LOL))Well, believe it or not it's snowing here in Comanche. The schools are closed once againt today and tonight's scheduled HS B-Ball and winter homecoming events have been called off.

I guess we just can't seem to buy a break from Mother Nature. We'll see what the weekend brings. Hopefully it will warm up and melt all the snow off. I have some restocking I have to do on Sunday with food and stuff.
