Egypt: Cenk Chides Obama For Not Being Like . . . Reagan!
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

It was 16 degrees warmer in my upstate New York town this morning than it was in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If any further portent of the apocalypse is necessary, consider that on his MSNBC show this evening, uber-lib Cenk Uygur compared Barack Obama to Ronald Reagan . . . and clearly came down on the side of Ronaldus Maximus.

The subject was Egypt. Uygur played the clip of Reagan's immortal "tear down this wall," and contrasted it with Obama's wan words on the need for "orderly transition" in Egypt.

I don’t buy the left’s newfound love of Reagan.

If you had asked Uygur a month ago about Reagan and the Berlin wall, I’m guessing he would have credited Gorby for it and said that Gorby was just trying to set an example.

The world realizes now that obama is the substitute teacher.

Too bad, really.

The only one who doesn't miss President Reagan is the ballerina.

“The world realizes now that obama is the substitute teacher.”

You nailed it.

As long as I'm alive I'll not let anyone forget how the left reacted to Reagan while he was governor, president and retiree.

For them to sing his praises now is taking their usual hypocrisy to new hieghts. Its high comedy.

This is nothing more than a deliberately crafted strategy to try and connect Obama to Reagan in usual misguided hope that conservatives are dumb enough to buy it.

Sure is. Warmonger this, senile that, Parkinson the other...

He was too dumb. He was the sole reason AIDS became a problem. He was the sole reason for the homeless. When he said, “Tear down this wall”, they called it confrontational.

When he didn’t cave to Gorby in Reykjavik he was termed a fool who lost the chance of a generation.

And this just scratches the surface.

Obama is to Reagan as horseshit is to a horse.

It's all about the "Reagan Democrats".
The rats cannot afford to have any more white Democrats flee the party.

Cenk Uygur should have a disclaimer at the beginning of each and every show. Cenk Uygur is a Turkish muslim.

Cenk Uygur hosts another talk show name The Young Turks
The name sounds cute and energetic. It's not. It is also a reference to The Young Turks, a groups of Ottomans who sought to reform the Ottoman Empire/Caliphate. They essentually ran the Ottoman Empire during the first World War. Not only did they do a horrible job, but they also scapegoated Armenian Christians for their failures. (As if Armenian Christians made Enver Pasha invade the Russian Caucuses in winter!) This led to the genoicide of Armenian Christians, as well as generalized Muslim retribution against Christains and Jews, who were seen now as pro-British French and Russian.

I don't know if he wants a restored Ottoman Empire or Caliphate. At best, this would put him in league with the "Moderate Islamists" of the Turkish AKP (Justice and Development Party), who play Mensheviks to the Bolsheviks of the Muslim Brotherhood. Either way, he knows teh Jihadi goals of the Muslim Brotherhood and has spent the last week covering for them.
