The birthers have a plan to end Barack Obama's presidency—and in Arizona, they're making progress.

Looks like this guy Corn has been used to clean nether regions once too often!

It's not a "plan to block" Obama. The paperwork exists or it does not. "Birthers" can't keep Obama from releasing his qualification documentation.

Questions like this should NEVER, EVER arise again for POTUS candidates. States need to step up and ensure only those constitutionally qualified can assume office.

IMO, Obama uses this "birther" thing as a red herring to discredit his detractors. We know this as Obama could have ended this charade years ago by authorizing release of the long form birth certificate, putting the matter to rest.

That said, as one individual, he doesn't matter. What matters is the big picture: this will never again be an issue because one or more states will require proper documentation.

My response to such a POTUS candidate? Cry me a river.

In the early 20th century, my own grandmother's original birth certificate was lost in a records repository fire. She did not run for POTUS.

Arizona is once again on the forefront - more states need to apy attention of how America has been taken over by the socialists.

Anyone heard of Roger Calero?

We know for a fact that during the Presidential election of 2008 Roger Calero (he also ran in 2004) was placed on the ballot of many states as the Socialist Workers Party candidate even though he is absolutely not eligible to the hold the office of the President. According to a website that promotes the Socialist Worker’s Party themilitant.com: Born in Nicaragua, Calero has lived in the United States since 1985 when his family moved to Los Angeles. He joined the socialist movement there in 1993.[v]

But because America is still grappling with its black slave guilt and a CORRRUPT media that would make Joseph Gobels proud, America installed a black man (actuall more arab than black) in the WH without ever finding out anything about him. AMERICA MUST NOT DO THIS AGAIN, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HE MUST BE STOPPED BEFORE HE HAS A CHANCE TO CORRUPT AND PURCHASE MORE THAN 501% of the electorate.

Eligibility laws should have no impact at all on people who can prove their eligibility.

I wish that were true. My birth certificate was issued three years after I was born and the original, long form birth certificate is sealed pursuant to the adoption laws in place at that time. The birth certificate that I have is official with a raised seal and all. It states my adopted name, date of birth, and place of birth. It does not identify the hospital, attending physician, or witnesses, and the adoption laws do not allow me to obtain this information or any other information that would allow me to locate my natural mother without her consent.

How could the Arizona law block Hussein's re-election — unless he is in fact not eligible?

It is the states that run elections. remember, what you're really voting for are "electors," your state's representatives to the Electoral College.

Candidates must be "certified" by the state.

That the democratic Party commited fraud to get Obama on state ballots is an entirely separate issue.

There are always exceptions. I sympathize with adopted children who are faced with difficulties like yours. Barry shouldn’t have that problem. ...I have two adopted grandsons, one whose parents abandoned him at an orphanage in Uruguay. I doubt it will ever be possible for him to locate his birth parents. The other had a father who never claimed him, and a mother who abandoned him on several occasions. He should be able to locate both of them when he is older. God bless you.

Thanks James for the link. I think that the fact that Obama self-certified in 2008 is one of the driving factors in Arizona's push for their new eligibility verification law. There are just too many questions about his provenance that won't go away.
