(NewsCore) - A Florida federal judge ruled Monday in a 26-state challenge to the national health care law that the provision requiring individuals to purchase health insurance by 2014 or suffer a penalty is unconstitutional, Fox News Channel reported.

Thanks. I knew it couldn’t be over yet.
So far, so good, though.
On to the 11th Circuit, baby. Let’s see who we got ...
Judges: (appointed by)
Joel Dubina - (Bush Sr.)
Gerald Tjoflat - (Ford)
James Edmondson - (Reagan)
Susan Black - (Bush Sr.)
Ed Carnes - (Bush Sr.)
Rosemary Barkett - (Clinton)
Frank Hull - (Clinton)
Stanley Marcus - (Clinton)
Charles Wilson - (Clinton)
William Pryor - (Bush Jr.)
Beverly Martin - (Obama)
Note: Dubina, Edmondson, and Wilson ruled on Elian Gonzalez case that sent him back to Cuba in 2000.
It looks like Obama’s chickens have come home........... to roost.
If we could get him to push this while simultaneously arguing for massive gun control legislation and another gargantuan stimulus package, well, gosh, 2012 might be the best Christmas ever.
CNN and FoxNews are avoiding this news.
They are reporting on Charlie Sheen and everything else, but they just cannot bring themselves to do much indepth reporting on this.
It will be appealed by Obama to the Supremes.
My guess is that their ruling, one way or another, will be a 5-4 split; with one of the “moderates” making the deciding vote.
Do you know if Judge Roger Vinson (a native of Cadiz, Kentucky according to your post) is a relative of the deceased (Truman era) Chief Justice of SCOTUS Fred Vinson who was also from Kentucky?
LOL! Paging Joe Biden...
He is, pretty much, an idiot!”
We must remember that Shep LOVES Ovomit!
Thank you, REAGAN APPOINTEE Judge Vinson! Thank you President Reagan for appointing him!
Maybe Nancy and Harry should have read it so they would have known what was in it, instead of strong-arming it through.
Thanks be to God for favors granted. And thanks to every conservative who’s fighting this cocky, evil scumbag in our White House...take him and his ilk down hard every chance we get, until we rub them out like ashes beneath our feet.
[This has other implications as well since Congress claimed Commerce Clause jurisdiction in passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and particularly its “public accommodations” sections and many other unrelated pieces of liberal economic and social laws]
I thought the courts long ago gave up on consistency.
Just heard on the way home . . . couldn’t wait to get here and post . . . CHEERS AND KUDOS!!! IT’S ABOUT TIME for some justice and legitimacy in this country!!!!!!
LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void. This has been a difficult decision to reach, and I am aware that it will have indeterminable implications," Vinson wrote.
Does anyone think its possible that 0bama will decide not to challenge the judges ruling but will instead try to negotiate a bill with the Republicans???
Then, if he can’t work out a deal with Republicans he would call them unreasonable and claim that the entire 2012 election will be about Healthcare.
Yet, they were ok with one man usurping the will of the ENTIRE State of California with regard to gay marriage.
Seems they want their cake & to eat it, too.
