From FOX:
DEVELOPING: Loud explosions and gunfire were heard in the Egyptian capital of Cairo Friday, as protesters demanding the removal of President Hosni Mubarak defied a curfew, Al Jazeera reported. Egyptian television reports the ruling party headquarters in Cairo are on fire.
From TWITTER:
WashingtonPost: Clinton: We urge #Egypt authorities to allow peaceful protest, reverse unprecedented steps it has taken to cut off communications less than 20 seconds ago
I see the 0ne is about to speak again. I guess to take credit for everything.
” I see the 0ne is about to speak again. I guess to take credit for everything. “
TV deprived, here - keep the reports a-comin’??
Thanks
I am too. I was hoping for updates here!
They weren’t happy. Basically saying they weren’t leaving until he is gone and they want him gone NOW.
I had been told your reputation for knowledge concerning the markets is impeccable beyond reproach. Correct me if I am wrong. Did the price of rice rise by nearly 70 percent, in certain locations across the globe, about one year ago? I put this in the form of a question because I do not remember price indexes after read normally.
Oh god, he’s on TV again...

El Baradei seems to be stirring the stink:
Mohamed ElBaradei tells @andersoncooper that #Egypt Pres. Mubarak’s pledge not to seek re-election is an “act of deception.”
Now Nero is speaking.
Change was needed
Not the role for any nation to decide Egypts leaders, but the Egyptian people
Process, must be meaningful, peaceful, and now
US will extend hand of friendship and assistance
Dignity demonstrated by people of Egypt and an inspiration
Particularly the young people, we hear your voices, you will determine your own destiny for your children and grandchildren
“...committed to a partnership between Egypt and the United States...”
Obama: “The status quo is not maintainable and Mubarak knows this. But it is not the role of any other country to pick Egypt’s leaders.”
Now that he’s got all this mess going, he has the nerve to say he’s not picking their leader. LOL
I caught the part of his speech where he said.. “the government serves at the will of the people”
HollyB: You hit the date after all (should repost your post)! lol

The Egyptian government has information a diplomat at the U.S. embassy in Cairo secretly met yesterday with a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the nation’s major Islamist opposition group, WND has learned.
The topic of the meeting was the future of Egypt following the “fall” of President Hosni Mubarak, an Egyptian intelligence official told WND.

Did you choke on a giant bone of irony?
Pretty weak, actually he doesn’t have a knack for speaking without his T. He’s been reading his speeches from his notepad lately, and I think he’s thrown off by the ‘change’.

And in pakistan:
A Pakistani court has ordered officials not to free a US citizen arrested for killing two men in Lahore last week.
The Lahore high court also ordered the government to place the name of Raymond Davis on the “exit control list” to prevent him from leaving Pakistan.
The US embassy has called for Mr Davis to be freed, saying he has diplomatic status and is immune from prosecution.
Mr Davis has admitted that he shot the men but says he acted in self-defence because they were trying to rob him.
Thanks for the updates, for those of us who are ‘flying blind’..... ;)
Thanks, We’ve all posted so much over the past 5 days, I can’t remember who is posting what anymore. There’s a lot of good information in this thread. Thanks for keeping it straight.
For some reason zer0 the nero wants to be seen as shaping things in the mideast. He has always wanted this. Now he is making sure that he is on TV every time Mubarak is.
zer0 is in contempt of court over 0bamacare, in contempt of congress over documents requested by Issa, and is ignoring the will of the American people in general.
But he sure is active in seeing to it that the Muslim Brotherhood gets a good, strong chance of taking over Egypt and all that implies for the future of Israel... :0/
