a rules change that would slash by a third the number of presidential appointments that need Senate approval. Idiots, all of them are idiots.
Watch for a whole bunch more Cass Sunsteins to ooze into Government.

McConnell is such a little douchebag.
The rats will walk all over him on this “deal” (and everywhere else) and we’ll hear not one peep out of him.

The General Election in 2012 and the mid-term in 2014 will be the next two opportunities and possibly the last to swing the pendulum back to doing what is best for this nation and not what is expedient to satisfy those who pave the road to a further demise as a free people and pretend to be acting in all our best interests.

One more thing. ANYONE that would enter into a “gentleman’s agreement” with Harry Reid......... is an idiot.

Surrender by the GOP. If they thought they could get away with it, they would do away with elections, make O dictator for life in exchange for the promise they could retain their prestigious positions

The reality is that there are too many RINOs’ in the Senate that would break ranks with the GOP in the blink of an eye anyway so this is an appropriate move by McConnell to maintain some sort of balance. I disapprove of it, but, it's just a gentleman's agreement that will probably be blown apart within the first week. Our job is to help shove it back up Reid's’ nostrils by keeping pressure on our senators.

The problem for Republicans, as I understand it, is that Democrats have to votes to eliminate the filibuster in the Senate rules. Now that Robert Byrd is gone, there is no Democrat left to shame them into maintaining Senate traditions. So, why wouldn’t you compromise a deal that is better for you than the elimination of the filibuster?
To: NormsRevenge
