It's worse than that. It's really bad liberal claptrap.

This show will win several Emmys this season as Kathy Bates is a big leftie and a favorite among the Hollywood Left. The Emmys will have nothing to do with quality of the show.

Amen. When I first saw this show advertised my first comment to my family was, “I’m so glad that NBC is doing something about the shortage of programs about crusading leftist lawyers.”
Look for this show to follow ‘Outlaw’ into the dustbin in a couple weeks.

NBCs _________ Is Leftist Claptrap
ABCs _________ Is Leftist Claptrap
CBSs _________ Is Leftist Claptrap
Very few shows would make that statement false.

Kathy Bates is the anti-Harry Dean Stanton. Every movie or TV show she appears in automatically loses one star in the review.

On the other hand ... leftists are rarely so honest about their support for China’s one-child policy, and rarely so outspoken that they’d support that policy over the right of a pregnant woman to be given an equal opportunity for employment.
A conservative arguing in favor of equal employment for women on an NBC show seems unique.

They only love lawyers when they defend guilty criminals for free. Prosecutors need not apply. She's never seen an episode of "Law and Order", where the crimes seem to be committed mainly by caricatures of Christians, businessmen, and different versions of "bitter clingers".

But like most radical liberals, she’ll brandish a handgun in a heartbeat. Pathetic. My wife turned it off only minutes into the first segment, she was pretty fired up.

Seeing Kathy Bates in the ads, I knew what it was right off the bat, but my wife can sit through a lot of stupid shows, and this one she couldn’t. She doesn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh, but when she heard Bates blaming him for his “dangerous rhetoric,” that was enough for her.
To: Walter Scott Hudson
I like Kathy Bates. So, I watched the first episode. When she said something about Rush Limbaugh’s drug use, I turned the show off. Not my cup of tea, as you can see from my tagline.

On the new NBC show “Harry's Law,” Kathy Bates plays a patent lawyer gone rogue. After a series of random life-altering events, she ends up running a law office out of an abandoned shoe store in a crime-ridden neighborhood in Cincinnati and has to beg her insurance agent to extend malpractice coverage.

I haven't seen her in ANYTHING since Titanic. I don't watch many movies or television shows.

What’s a “terrorized Scott”? Does he mean to write “Scot”? Cause that would at least make sense. I guess the author’s not so smart after all.

They only love lawyers when they defend guilty criminals for free. Prosecutors need not apply. You mean like Sam Waterston on "Law & Order"? He's the biggest wacky lefty around. Not to mention I learned on L&O that New York Police Detectives are almost all liberal democRATs!

Too bad, Kathy Bates is one of the best actresses out there. She ruled in her Stephen King roles. Remember her as Libby Holden in Primary Colors?
