Insisting the Tea Party is a "force for good" Rep. Michele Bachmann blasted health care reform, called for deep budget cuts and blamed President Obama for failing to find solutions to help the struggling economy.
The response to President Obama's State of the Union address, was on behalf of the tea party movement, and followed the Republican Party's official response on Tuesday night.

I thought her rebuttal was excellent. I wanted to watch on the Tea Party site but after Obama’s speech all that was on there was some forum with WH people!
I completely missed Paul Ryan! I finally went to Foxnews.com and watched Michelle.
So frustrating!

Too much teleprompter, no enthusiasm, kinda blah, she could have been more authoritative. She’s OK, but I think Palin would have done a better job if she had to do the response. I give her a “B”, but since its the “NY” Daily news, I say “A” just to get the Libs panties in a knot.

Done! I thought she did great. The “eye contact” thing did not distract from the issues (deficit, unemployment since Obamster took office, repealing ObammyCare, etc.) that she hit spot on.

I loved it. I discerned no problem with eye contact. Of course, I was listening on the radio!
Great response. Better in some ways than the official response.
Daily News is as about far left as one could get.
Not giving them a hit as they are close to being broke.
That said, Congresswoman Bachmann was outstanding last night.
Imagine that even some of the CNN folks had to admit she did a good job and she actually enhanced Ryan’s speech.
