New York state Sen. Carl Kruger wants to make his states streets safer.
To do that, he's not proposing a tough new gun law or advocating for broader police search powers.

So much for walking and chewing gum at the same time, huh? /s =.=
May I still look in my purse?
There ought to be a law so that the first citizen who finds out some lawmaker wants to pass some idiot law like this can legally tar and feather them publicly.

"The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws". Ayn Rand
...New York is going to collapse in its own budget hole.
Good to know they’re working on stuff that matters. :)

“Stupidity cannot be cured with money money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can’t help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.”
