The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has protected us once again. This time from a student with part of the 4th Amendment written on his naked chest. What exactly did he write?
The right of the people to be secure against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated
Were they offended by the sight of a naked male chest or our Constitution? Or did they just want to provide a 2 for 1 by infringing on his right to free speech at the same time?
Prosecuting attorneys in Henrico County, Virginia, have decided not to pursue criminal charges against the college student who was arrested for disorderly conduct after removing his shirt at Richmond International Airport (RIC) and exposing a portion of the Fourth Amendment written on his chest. Aaron Tobey, a Charlottesville native, was en route to his grandfathers funeral on December 30 when he made his novel protest against the Transportation Security Administrations (TSA) use of whole-body imaging scanners and enhanced pat downs.
In court proceedings today, the County Commonwealths Attorney asked the Henrico General District Court to enter a nolle prosequi on the charge, which is a request the prosecution be discontinued thereby discharging Tobey from liability, and the court granted the request.
Fortunately for the student the Rutherford Institute stepped in and saved the day.
Free market security would be a lot better.
I don’t fly so I shouldn’t pay for any of it and those who do can buy the security they desire.
I would have been surprised if the Henrico County Commonwealth Attorney had pushed this.
Fortunately for the student the Rutherford Institute stepped in and saved the day.
Nonetheless, kudos to the Rutherford Institute. I have personal experience with the great work they've done, and I heartily endorse them as good warriors in the fight.
Where in heck does the TSA get their people? Interstate overpasses?????....
disorderly conduct for displaying a part of the Constitution? Are these TSA jokers for real?
I'm not sure but I think it's the sex offenders work release programs and a company named Fatwa Security Personnel.
Fortunately for Henrico County prosecutors...
lest they be exposed for the jackasses they are.
As someone who by necessity has to interact with these bozos at TSA, it would seem from the Welfare rolls, sure seems to have a lot of nobama voters!
I meet and deal with several of them every day and I am being truthful when I say none of them has an IQ over about 95. One is an older drunk.
Just like our police forces, the Government hires unqualified low IQ types who would not be able to hold a job anywhere else, overpays them, and gives them the power over others. This combination creates a class of thugs that will always do what they are told because they know are on the gravy train.
The Constitution to liberals, Democrats, Statists and the TSA is like holy water, the cross or garlic to vampires, like silver bullets to werewolves, like water to the wicked witch, like sobriety to W. C. Fields, it terrifies and angers them!
The equal (size only of course) para-military he was yammering about?
Crack dens, over-weight dropouts from the gym, homosexuals, and all manner of freaks who can’t get a real job or just plain “get off” on jerking helpless people around.
You hit the mail on the head and they would gladly shove us in boxcars as long as the government check and beenies keep flowing...
Do you mean the people living under them or the people hurling rocks from them?

you have a way with words,,, the reason i don't fly anymore....Don't touch my junk
Those shirts and stuff are cool! Thanks for the link.
Exactly! They must hire people who are so ignorant they run only on their basic instincts. Any person with a decent brain has some morals and can't be programmed to go to the next level, ie. the boxcars.
That is a blanket statement about police officers that simply isn't true. Good grief.
