W.H.: 'Birthers' aren't 'rational'

Here’s what you need to know from Monday’s (1/24/2011)White House briefing with press secretary Robert Gibbs:

-- Gibbs hinted that President Obama will talk about gun rights in his State of the Union address....

-- Gibbs snuck a jab at the so-called birthers who don’t believe Obama was born in Hawaii. “I think rational people have long ago, many when they first heard and saw the president, come to the conclusion of his citizenship,” he said.

No matter where he was born his father was a British subject. The SCOTUS, CIA,FBI etc is in on this treason,,,for what reason??

This cleanses all their self guilt about slavery. The courts in particular will not involve themselves after the firestorm that erupted when they declared Bush Pres in Dec 2000.

We have to provide a birth certificate for our nine year old to sign up for youth baseball this weekend. I suppose the program organizers are “irrational” for expecting one.

Citizen, or natural born citizen? Why do they act like the Constitution doesn't matter when they don't feel like it should matter? I think these are all reasonable questions for anyone seeking that office and hope at least one state will make proof of natural born citizenship a requirement for appearing on ballots and being recognized as commander in chief. Some more reasonable questions: Did he attend Occidental and/or Columbia as a foreign student? Did he travel to Pakistan on other than an American passport? If not, how was he allowed in when at the time, to my knowledge, visits were limited to fellow Mohammadans? Were his educational expenses at Harvard paid for by a fund controlled by the Saudi royal family? I think an American president or someone seeking the office, would take seriously Americans asking these questions and give straight answers. It's hard to understand what seems like the spin and obfuscation.

I think the word “Caucasian” is checked off on the COLB and Barack worked real hard at throwing his White half under the bus so he “wouldn’t be seen as a sell-out”.

Whether he is or not, he certainly acts like exactly what the natural-born requirement was intended to prevent. He isn't for the home team.

Concluding someone's citizenship from seeing and hearing them sounds like a rationale that Jared Loughner might think of and accept as rational.

Gibbs has publicly admitted that he posted the phony COLB online so he may be breaking down mentally thinking about having committed Federal felony document fraud.

Doesn’t it seem odd that this is brought up again. Just for the heck of it, let’s think of why that would be.Could it be that the Birther issue had pretty much died? The Supreme Court has refused all appeals from lower courts that had denied standing on all cases brought.

Obama needs this issue to be front and center to dis conservatives with the “Birther” label. If a BC exist, he is having Albercrombe stir the pot to get this issue into the news cycles.

Does anyone find it odd that Chrissy would make a point of asking for the release of the BC.
