It would seem clever to again focus the burden of proof on Obama, where it should be, but in the grander scheme, it is either a Clinton-wing NWO warning to Obama and/or a bribe. The office that administers this law has already said that the statements made by the Hawaiian Department of Health regarding Obama and his BC, require the release of supporting documentation to any citizen requesting it. Good liuck at getting compliance.
More smoke rising, hopefully some swing state legislature will pass legislation REQUIRING any candidate for President provide copies of their ORIGINAL birth certificate in order to be placed on the ballot.
This is a clever ruse. A birth certificate alone does not qualify one as a Natural Born Citizen. Testing this principle is exactly what Team Obama has managed to keep out of court. Simple is better. South Carolina is considering a state law requiring candidates to prove that they are Natural Born Citizens. That way, the AG can simply keep an impostor off the ballot, forcing a lawsuit and a decision.
Warning: So far, all the talk about defining Natural Born Citizen at the state level is a great deal of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Yes they did. One would have to be very stupid to think this did not happen especially since Bush has always been accused of this which I don’t think he did. They were trying to steal the election at the last minute big time. That’s what the left does. Of course, if anyone thinks McCain was the real Republican nominee; they are really stupid. He was given the nomination because they thought he would have the same bc problems as Obama and he could be beat. The reason McCain chose Sarah is because she is a conservative and woman(thought she would help them lose); but it backfired on him . McCain knew he would not win. Talk about a manufactured election.
I think the natural born citizen angle would be argued to death, but the birth certificate angle would be much easy for common folk to understand. I think the reason Barry has not released a long form birth certificate is either that it does not exist (ie grandparents registered his birth and he was not born in Hawaiian hospital), or a long form BC does exist, but there is something on there that is totally at odds with what Barry has been telling people about his life story (multiple theories here).
If either scenario above is true, Barry would be exposed as either a liar or a fraud or both. The voters would disqualify him from re-election, rendering the natural born citizen thing moot.
The law in Hawaii requires that any documentation used by a public official making a public pronouncement be made public. That’s it. Real Simple.

What if it were applied to the HDP candidate declaration of 2008 signed by Brian Schatz? Schatz is now Lt. Gov under Abercrombie. In 2008 he was head of HDP.
Why apply FOIA to that particular document?
That document did not do what it was supposed to do - provide a declaration of constitutional eligibility. It contained wording indicating the National Democratic Party had named the said candidates but it lacked the legally required wording. That wording was in the 2004 and 2000 HDP candidate documents.
So what background lead Brian Schatz to change the template used in 2004 to specifically avoid declaring Obama eligible under AII?
The ‘backup’ to this document would be interesting.
So get Obamas brother George from Kenya to make a request. Obama won’t help him financially so someone offer him 100k.
That will satisfy provision 5 for the release of his birth certificate.
Worst that can happen is Obama will buy his brother off, either way his brother gets out of poverty.
Blind alley. Obama eventually was certified by Cronin, perhaps after a hearing, and placed on the ballot. In accepting the word of the DNC, Cronin was acting completely within his legal authority. There is no obligation to ask for documentation.

If ANY state passed such a law it would reveal the Obama BC fraud. That would have devastating effect on the rest of the campaign!
The newspaper birth announcements must have a reason IF Obama were not born in Hawaii.
It could be as simple as the parents realizing the greater advantage for the child of having their child a US citizen rather than a citizen of any 3rd (or 2d) world country.
The governor has stated there were “writings” regarding his birth in Hawaii.....NOTHING about the actual birth certificate.
Imagine the pandoras box if the governor came out and said there IS NO birth certificate.

This man has wept over the disparagement of his good friend's reputation. That's all there is to it, I'm sure. No, I'm "really" sure...really, really, really sure...
Actually there were claims that Bill Clinton is the first bastard president. Clinton is the name he got from Roger “Dude” Clinton, the stepfather who adopted him. His biological father is SUPPOSED to have been one William Jefferson Blyth who was his mother’s first husband but records seem to indicate that he was gone with the military at the time when Bill was conceived.
No he would not, Natural Born Citizen in Article II of the constitution requires ot only US citizenship. It requires physical birth WITHIN the United States.
