One of the fiercest gun-control advocates in Congress, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), pounced on the shooting massacre in Tucson Sunday, promising to introduce legislation as soon as Monday.
McCarthy ran for Congress after her husband was gunned down and her son seriously injured in a shooting in 1993 on a Long Island commuter train.
Pennsylvania Rep. Robert Brady, a Democrat from Philadelphia, told CNN that he also plans to take legislative action. He will introduce a bill that would make it a crime for anyone to use language or symbols that could be seen as threatening or violent against a federal official, including a member of Congress.

That sweeping statement seems to be an indictment of The Messiah who has, many times, made plain that he wishes harm to come to Republicans.

I suspect it will be more than gun control legislation. Look for the banning of speech.

Good idea. This will put an end to all this political bickering over that stupid old Constitution. Who needs it anyway. It was just a piece of paper written by rich racist slavemasters. And all these corporations have got to go. The government can do a much fairer job. I think we should go ahead and outsource the failed evil government to Venezuela and let the brilliant Hugo run the show. i am for No Labels anymore. Those darn conservatives win all the debates now that we are bankrupt so lets not debate anymore. it is not fair.
