Weiss, Spurrier, Holtz, even Pete Caroll (although he went back to the pros) took their turn in the NFL and got hammered on and came back to the college game. I’m sure there’s many more

I bet you guys are not happy campers. I thought Jim might come back to save his alma mater from their precipitous decline. As a non UM Big Ten fan I'm fine with his decision.

And here in Indianapolis we applaud your owners decision. Mr. Del Rio has over the years been one of the Colts best coaches, if you know what I mean.

BIG AMEN!!!
If BW isn't the best coach, both in terms of X's and O’s and overall influence on the game in the history of the NFL, he's at the top of a very, very short list.

Broncos suck even more....Isn't that the truth? And I'm a long time fan. I'm not holding out much hope that the front office will pick a decent coach.

Kind of surprised after Luck decided to stay - wonder if that will change? Stanford will/would have been highly ranked next year Maybe the Niners will make a trade with Carolina for the first draft pick.

Weiss, Spurrier, Holtz, even Pete Caroll (although he went back to the pros) took their turn in the NFL and got hammered on and came back to the college game. Im sure theres many more Miami Dolphins fans were worried that he would be Nick Saban 2.0.

"College is about getting a degree." ~ Oliver Luck on his son returning.
Daddy Luck can afford a good insurance policy in case he should get injured.

Maybe the Niners will make a trade with Carolina for the first draft pick.As a Panther fan, this is another piece of bad news. Luck obviously decided to stay because he didn't want to go to Carolina. We were hoping for Harbaugh as a consolation prize.

Denver should pick up Mike S. HE has the 49ers poised for championship play. Mike did all the hard work and will get no credit.

Eddies nephew Jed apparently spoke with him earlier this week. Coughing up $25MM does give the appearance he listened.

Denver should pick up Mike S. If not as the head coach, then at least as the defensive coordinator. One of the things less mentioned in the whole Skippy debacle is that he also chased off Mike Nolan. I said when Bowlen hired Skippy that he handed the keys to the family Cadillac to the snot-nosed brat who'd just gotten his learner's permit. First thing he did was back out of the driveway and into a tree, then proceeded to head off down the street, while stripping the gears. Seems I was rather prophetic.

I do believe I have never been more drunk than after Clark caught the catch against my beloved Cowboys, Tom Landry was never the same.
