'Birther' arrested during Constitution reading

A woman was arrested in the House gallery Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling out her belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

When Frank Rep. Pallone (D-N.J.) read the part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the public gallery, screamed "Except Obama, except Obama. Help us Jesus."

You know that congressman held his mental breath when he read this part. EVERYONE KNOWS obama is, at the LEAST, “questionable”!!

Wow, nice one. Let’s see them charge her with something. That ought to be the ticket we need.

I haven't seen the video, and I don't know if she was trying to make the valid point that the Constitution has meaning and that Obama (and all those who take on the office that Chicago's community organizer has usurped) must prove their eligibility or trying to make those who have questions look like nuts. In either case, it needed to be said.

UPDATE: I’m told that the woman who made the disruption was Theresa Cao, a birther activist and supporter of court-martialed birther Lt. Col. Terry Lakin. On December 16, she told WorldNetDaily that she was “taking his message to the White House and Congress.” She maintains a blog here and a Facebook page here.

The lack of a birth certificate wasn't what she yelled about. She was referring to his not being a Natural Born Citizen.

Much to my surprise; FOX News radio played the audio during their top of the hour newscast...the announcer even clarified what she was shouting; since the audio wasn't terribly clear...
