A woman was arrested in the House gallery Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling out her belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

When Frank Rep. Pallone (D-N.J.) read the part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the public gallery, screamed "Except Obama, except Obama. Help us Jesus."

As I recall from my senior high school trip to Wash. (many years ago) and my seat in the House Gallery, gallery sitters are required to be quiet. I expect the woman was simply ejected from the gallery.

What she did was an act of civil disobedence—no different than Blacks sitting at “white’s only” lunch counters and the front of the bus in the South years ago.

It is obvious that civil disobedient acts (sit-ins, freedom marches and the like) are effective ways to protest an unresponsive government. There is absolutely no reason for conservatives to remove that arrow from their quiver.

It is like we live in some form of the Twilight Zone.

To be in the house the Constitution says:
•at least 25 years of age.
•a citizen of the United States for at least seven years prior to election.
•a resident of the state he or she is chosen to represent.

To be in the senate the Constutition says:
•at least 30 years old.
•a U.S. citizen for at least nine years at the time of election to the Senate.
•a resident of the state one is elected to represent in the Senate.

To be President the Constitution says:
•at least 35 years old.
•a natural born citizen of the United States.
•a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.

How come no one will directly address the issue of Natural born citizen. It doesn’t say naturalized, or just citizen - it says natural born. Natural born is someone who is born of BOTH parents that are US Citizens.

This ongoing debacle of the rule of law is incredible. The liberal progressive left doesn’t think ANYTHING applies to them.

We are truly at war with progressives in our country. This is happening on our watch.

I think they were soundly condemned by us for their antics regardless of the message. Same criteria should be appied for all disrupters.

Please answer one question, did the liberals ever condemn Code Pink and other liberals/communists for disruptions?
