with this computer...
Now can the computer guys here on free republic explain in laymens terms what this means?

FR needs to have some type of method to commuincate to its members when it’s off-line.
I was even checking TWITTER to try and find out any info...

From what I understand, the turbo encabulator is getting a bit old and the prefamulated amulite casing is a little warped, which occasionally causes friction against the panametric fram. This causes it to slow down below the critical speed and it can no longer synchronize with the cardinal grahmmeter.
Or something like that.
It hasn’t logged me out, but I’ve had numerous time-outs and blank pages (depending on which device I’m using.)
I don’t think FR is fully recovered yet.

Dunno,...I went to freerepublic2 to find out it was down again by the good posters there...the read some zerohedge.com...but finally ended up reading at libertypost.org (freeper-like site with many ex-freepers)

Interestingly enough, I had trouble getting Rush’s site during that period as well, so tried some other conservative site.... A few minutes ago I got Rush’s site, and of course can get on here... Things that make you go “hmmmm.....”??
We don’t know yet. John couldn’t find any problem with the hardware or software so he restarted everything. Still no luck. Then he had some problems connecting to the database, so he reloaded that. It’s running now, but there are still performance problems that he’s troubleshooting.

Frankly, with the constant ongoing FREEPERTHON going on and the amount of money pouring in, you should have a bullet-proof system up here.
But what I see are constant outages with no good explanation. Please change your host site, mirror it, and get busy with REAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY people and/or service to insure 100% up time - which is very do-able. Get ‘er done.
It appears at least ONE blog site took advantage of this outage to re-post that recent negative dribble.
