Joy Behar Annoyed at 'Constitution-loving' House Republicans
NewsBusters ^ | 1/4/11

Posted on 01/05/2011 8:42:03 AM PST by EBH

Joined by a balanced panel of liberal Bloomberg news columnist Margaret Carlson and leftist radio host Bill Press, HLN's Joy Behar took to her eponymous program last night to dismiss the plan Republican congressmen have to read the entire U.S. Constitution from the House floor later this week.

"Do you think this Constitution-loving is getting out of hand? I mean, is it a nod to the Tea Party?" Behar asked Press, before unwittingly, perhaps, answering her own question: "Is it the first time a lot of congressmen will have heard about it, er, read it?"

Congressmen are of course bound by constitutionally-required oath to "support this Constitution," and it's not inconceivable that some congressmen -- like Rep. John Conyers (D-Michigan) -- could brush up on their constitutional knowledge.

Video at link too!!!

“Actually to a degree...yes.”

If you have to listen to Joy to get that, then you have been living under a rock.

And statements like that are why Joy Behar is a ratings juggernaut for Headline News.

???? You response makes no sense.

You asked if we should care what the nut says...

I said Yes and why we should care. If I have to spell out for you the rest of America is not like FR....

then you’re the one living under a rock and has not considered taking up the battle against her type of tripe!

out of hand...?

Perhaps we should focus this question on the freedom of the press, just to see who'll scream the loudest and longest.

"The left and the US Constitution are like sunlight to a vampire"

A more accurate analogy would be to say,"The Left and the Constitution are like a bright light to a Cockroach"

What bothers me, is that Joy and company and Oprah are wild favorites of women. That being the case, the women who watch them have adopted an entertainment rather than objective thinking mode of watching.

I always laugh when I hear the left say people who listen to Rush don’t think for themselves. Rush addresses issues head on, explains his views, and people are welcome to agree or tune out. He doesn’t sugar coat it and slip it in while presenting unrelated entertainment content.

These Leftist ladies package their views within entertainment, skew the message with “feelings” over logic, and require that women turn off their critical thinking.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “Oh, I don’t pay attention to the politics of it. I just enjoy the show.” Give women a slick package and they’ll watch anything. That is born out by the View and Oprah.

Sorry ladies, but you need to clean up your act. These shows should have very few fans.

Then if you feel so strongly about discussing Joy’s tripe, knock yourself out. Do some Michael Moore and Keith Olbermann too. I’ll pass.

D*mn right we love the constitution, and if you libs want a civil war, just try jigging around it.

This is serious stuff, lefties, and you are at great risk trying to out think our forefathers, who - even though long dead - are still much much more intelligent than you idiots will ever be.

To limp minded liberals he Constitution is worthless unless it can be used as cover to find non-existent rights.

Obama telegraphed this when he derisively called it a 'charter of negative liberties'.

What else would we expect from people who worship government power.
