'A lot of people might think, 'The end's coming, let's go party.' But we're commanded by God to warn people'
RALEIGH, N.C. If there had been time, Marie Exley would have liked to start a family. Instead, the 32-year-old Army veteran has less than six months left, which she'll spend spreading a stark warning: Judgment Day is almost here.
Exley is part of a movement of Christians loosely organized by radio broadcasts and websites, independent of churches and convinced by their reading of the Bible that the end of the world will begin on May 21, 2011.
To get the word out, they're using billboards and bus stop benches, traveling caravans of RVs and volunteers passing out pamphlets on street corners. Cities from Bridgeport, Conn., to Little Rock, Ark., now have billboards with the ominous message, and mission groups are traveling in countries from Latin America to Africa to spread the news outside the U.S.

What a disgrace. The Bible CLEARLY teaches that only the Father knows the time, not even Jesus Christ himself knows. I pray these people wake up and put their faith in Him and not people.
Doesn’t the Bible say something about not knowing the time?
I hope you don’t believe this .....
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Same story.
Different date.
Some people never learn.
No I don’t believe it, because Jesus does not date set in the Holy Bible..Do I think we are nearing the Great Tribulation..The Day of the LORD??
yes I do....
Christ will come when He comes. Until then, we persevere.
The one consistent thing about end of the world dates is how wrong they have all been.
Well, I better file my taxes now. Hopefully, I can get my refund back with enough time to spend it.
I remember my next door neighbors (JVWs) thought the world would end in the 80s (86?) and threw away a beautiful wedding gown that would/should have gone to the daughter.
I mean, how silly.
Everyone knows the world will end in 2012! (funny movie BTW)
Just so. Matt. 24:36. You saved me the trouble.
This has been going on in America since the 19th century. When we look across the bay from our summer place in Maine, we can see the sun set over the Camden Hills. A large group of people gathered on top of one of the mountains over there to await the end of the world more than a hundred years ago.
It didn’t happen.
It will happen, but we don’t know the day or the hour.
REally, I thought it was Dec 21, 2012.
>>REally, I thought it was Dec 21, 2012.<<
That sounds right.
I think they are saying the *Great Tribulation* will start based upon the the last week in the Book of Daniel and Israel..
Israel-1948 to 2018= 70 yr’s
2011 the last 7 years.
