A rare use of the Canteen Ping list......

If you have a "ping list" could you send it out for this little request on behalf of all our armed forces and veterans? I was ambling around town here in Miami FL these last few days and I have noticed quite a few flags flying over businesses (one a credit union) that are old, faded and tattered. I have sort of resolved to simply remind these businesses that the flag they fly is supposed to HONOR the country and her armed forces and flying old beat up flags does the EXACT polar opposite. I went inside the business and later e-mailed the corporate chain of command. Here is the reply I received......

The rest of the story

Something we can all do to honor and support our country and her armed forces.

Good evening, former Air Force Captain, reporting from Wisconsin! Will you have a cold New Years Day? We have been subzero for a couple weeks and now it is supposed to RAIN tomorrow! Not good.

And we thank you for your service to our country.

Good evening, teen...*HUGS*...I had to pick up a friend at 6:15p and give them a ride home. I think most folks were already home, as there was very little traffic. Lots of people have tomorrow off. Our parking lot was pretty empty most all day.

I am hearing horror stories of the California storms. Are you involved?

Well, you can always post Lewiston and say how much colder it is at your house. It is always colder at my house than the weather banner shows.

Today they were actually in pretty good shape. Dr. gave me a nasal spray that didn’t work before but is doing better this time around. I just hope it continues to do it’s job!
