Global Warming is like Evolution. They are both the only exemptions in science to the falsifiability rule. There is no factor or circumstance conceivable that could disprove either. We’re supposed to be up into the 40s over the next day or two here in southern Michigan. Liberals are already claiming proof of global warming but it isn’t really so unusual.

The worst ice storm I remember was on new years eve back in the early 80s.

Leave it to a progressive idiot at the Center for American Progress to level this standard for disproving global warming. It has to be below freezing in NYC for an entire year before global warming "could" even be called into question.

Just proves Michaels point even more -- it's unfalsifiable science. The libs will keep putting the benchmark for disproving global warming so high you can't disprove it.

Get a copy of the book "The Chilling Stars: A Cosmic View of Climate Change" , by Henrik Svensmark and Nigel Calder. It's probably at your local library, or available through your Regional Library System. It makes an excellent case for the the Sun, and the stars, being the major forces behind our climate on Earth. Humans are a nit in the climate system; we have absolutely NO control over it, nor can we affect it in any way.

It's not a real hard read, even for folks who are not well versed in science.
