CNN's take on Republican news.

Much better for the TEAParty to spend time finding a primary challenger to Mrs. Kennedy over in the Democrat primaries.

Oh, yes, start stripping the Leftwingtards out of government by eliminating them from the Democrats.

I mean, like, those bad boys and girls are in favor of FORCED ABORTION, Confiscation of 401(k) accounts, Shutting off 2 cylinders in every car, and keeping your home (not theirs) at 68 degrees in winter and 98 degrees in summer.

I think you'd have some easy targets eh!

"It’s going to have that threat hovering over them on every key vote for the next two years."

Good! Throw their arses out of office before they become entrenched with power if they refuse to abide by the will of their constituency or if they fail to follow the Constitution!

A politician like Scott Brown is about the best one can get in Massachusetts. I’m not saying he’s any better than Olympia Snowe but he’s the best you can get in a state like Massachusetts.

I’d almost back an honest democrat before I help Brown again.

Brown is only the 2nd most hated Senator in Mass.
because of Sen. Kerry, but he is working on it.

Brown is the GOPs resident traitor and backstabber.
He is truly the clone of MITT ROMNEY.

FREEPERS CAN NEVER TRUST BROWN AGAIN.

After the Mass November results?

How about settling for a TeaParty candidate in the Legislature from the relatively conservative areas of Charlton? Before anyone thinks about trying to win a general election in the Bluest of Blue states.

I emailed Senator Brown’s office and informed him that I would be withdrawing my financial support and activist support (phone banks, sign holding, etc...)regardless of what he does from this point forward. DADT repeal was a dealbreaker for me. If he tries to rehabilitate his relationship with conservatives it will be viewed as a temporary at best and beyond cynical. Goodbye, Scott.

Being a conservative I find it is ironic about Scott Brown - so many people thought he would be a republican but when the going got rough and tough and Brown was going to be in a pickle he showed that he truly always will be a dumbocrat. his record in Mass was voting with the dumbocrats, he was a national guard JAG, and he has been courted so many times by Odumbo in DC that he has a price that he will accept. This is nothing more than the corruptocrats in Dc being influenced by money. I just wonder what was the price of the 30 pieces of silver that Brown received from Odumbo. did he offer his daughter in medical school something to. how about his other daughter. Brown and Odumbo are just corruptocrats nothing more and nothing less and both have a price thatthey will settle on. Odumbo has sold out America and Brown has too. The politics in DC is a joke. The best thing to happen is every politician be booted out and DC burned to the ground.

Re: A Primary Challenge for Scott Brown?
By Aaron Goldstein on 12.27.10 @ 1:30PM

Jim Antle writes about the growing disaffection here in Massachusetts amongst conservatives with Scott Brown citing an article in the Boston Globe quoting Christen Varley, President of the Greater Boston Tea Party, who has raised the possibility of a GOP primary challenge in 2012. Over the past month, Brown has voted in favor of the tax cut compromise, for the repeal of DADT and for the START Treaty.

Antle nevertheless remains optimistic about Brown’s chances noting that he has time on his side. I can understand the rationale of lighting a fire under Brown’s feet. Nevertheless methinks a primary challenge to Brown is counterproductive. Consider what I wrote in July when conservative disenchantment began to surface:

Now, of course, Brown would have to win the 2012 Massachusetts Republican Primary. It is certainly possible that Tea Party activists could find a viable candidate to challenge Brown in the primary. Yet it could prove to be a poison pill. Unless Brown wins the primary in a landslide (as he did last year), a strong challenge to him could cause the kind of division amongst Republican ranks that might very well lead the people’s seat to fall back into Democratic hands. In this part of the country, those hands have a very tight grip.

Still, given the anti-incumbent sentiment that exists amongst the electorate, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that Brown could lose the primary. But unless the person carrying the GOP banner is physically attractive, has beautiful adult daughters and drives a truck, don’t expect another Massachusetts miracle. Bay State Republicans could find a candidate more conservative than Brown, but if that candidate says or does anything that scares the daylights out of voters then it could become Deval Patrick’s seat.

But let me take a leap of faith here. Suppose the GOP primary challenger not only dislodges Brown but somehow beats Patrick (or whoever the Democratic nominee happens to be) in the 2012 senatorial race. Who is to say that new Massachusetts Republican senator won’t be susceptible to the same fallibility and folly?

Massachusetts Republicans and conservative activists should think about that long and hard before they organize an attempt to dislodge Brown.

To you RINOs who support Brown:

It is not BROWN's seat !

Conservatives will forever campaign against Traitor Brown,
another shapeshifting Democrat in the Backstabbing Wing of the GOP.

I gave money to this clown and what does he do?

Good for the tea party.

p.s Scott Brown did invite me to his Christmas party (seriously), but I went to the office one instead.

I read a great Tea Party article (National Review, maybe?) a while ago where local Tea Party leaders were saying they are already working on identifying possible primary challengers to "Tea Party candidates" just in case.

Keep 'em honest, don't let them get too comfortable - the same people who helped you get elected will help defeat you if you cross them - get on the bus or get run over by it.

Totally the right move!, You play our game or we take you out. If we wanted the “Lucy holding the football for charlie brown” routine we would just listen to the republicans.
No better example of the power of the tea party than to take out one they elected. Love it.

He didn’t stop Obamacare though I don’t blame him for that. However he’s just a typical NE RINO who loves to flip the bird to the party base. If he loses the next election no great loss.

Brilliant strategy. /s

This means every dollar spent to kick SB out (which will end up electing yet another far left kook) is a dollar that will not be spent to defeat the saboteur, Dick Lugar. Who comes from a red state.

No wonder they say the Tea Party isn’t ready for prime time.
