Saturday night, December 18, 2010, Jim floated the idea of forming a political action committe to organize an effort to defeat the RINOs in the upcoming 2012 and 2014 Congressional elections.
"Yup, I do believe its time. We need to organize an anti-RINO PAC and get it going in all 57 states to support and elect True God and Country Conservatives. We can do it!! FReeperPAC is born!"

Many FReepers expressed interest in helping with the PAC, posted research/resources, made relevant suggestions, offered advice, etc. It's time to move that effort to its own thread.
Please continue you contributons here. If you posted important information to the other thread, please consider re-posting it here. You will not automatically be added to the FReeper PAC ping list. You must request to be added if you want to receive pings to important updates.

For sure Onyx, it’s all a matter of time for me.
Don’t give up. Its what the left wants, that and a third party. Some things are worth fighting the good fight for,its not a straight shot up.
Add me to the list. I’m in.
Please add Hollyb to the list as well
Thanks for the ping TR.
FR was a big support corner for Scott Brown, who has turned out to be only 15% better, say, than the liberal alternative.
Yes. FR will meld and devolve into compromise just like everyone else.
What's worse is that a close tie-in between FR_PAC and freerepublic.com gives the leftists easier options to try to discredit and harass us, by highlighting a rogue racist post, sleeper accounts, righthaven attacks, DDOS, etc.

Sam, we’ve survived those kind of attacks before, and will do so again. Remember in the Clinton years, the flame wars, the attacks on us when we tried and then succeeded in taking down Dan Blather?
The only thing I worry about, regarding attacks, is the FCC and the regulations they are making or those they might impose. Did you see the links at Drudge yesterday on that subject? (I think there’s a thread on that.)
FReegards,
RT
add DollyCali too (and her pups.. nevermind, I will tell them)
I can’t refute your point, because it’s a good one.
But the TEA party mopvement is not a body, or organization; its a state of mind shared by a number of freely thinking individuals. Its effectiveness is dependant on the free flow of information.
“Net neutrality” is big brother’s newest attempt to stiffle that flow, and thus neuter the effect of free people.
How do we effectively react to that threat?
If that's a worry for you I suggest "stop worrying." Most of us don't care. We eat those clowns for dessert. Always ready to take them on.
As far as "FR will compromise just like everyone else" if I were a betting man I would place my bets with FR when it comes to compromise time.
It's not the FCC I'm worried about. That's a threat to freerepublic.com as it is, and can be dealt with.
I'm worried about the much more restrictive control that the FEC and the IRS will try to extend to freerepublic.com due to a tight connection with FRPAC.
And if you "brickwall" the connection and control between the two, then we might as well just support an existing PAC and be the "logging and tracking and research arm" of an already successful conservative PAC.
I’m all for fighting, but who do you fight with? Our (so called) team caves at every turn. I haven’t seen spines like this since the last time I visited the beach and found a washed up Jellyfish.
You get a wash-out election like this, and our team can’t find the gonads to tough it out for a couple of months.
This nation is being savaged right now, and comity is the operative word in ‘our’ camp. J... H... C.....!
I’m at my wits end with my fellow citizens right now.
Please add me to the ping list. Thanks.
An FRPAC would carry lots of weight since the political world knows that we say what we mean and mean what we say and if necessary we take no prisoners. Tell me what pac does that. FR strikes fear into the hearts of both the left and the right, nothing wrong with that.
Rinos have to be afraid that we will crawl up their butt with a fire hose and then turn it on every time they screw up.
Once that is achieved they will be under control. Until than they will run wild.
Rinos are rather gutless. They seldom take controversial stands, that's all we do here. They will run from us every time. We just have to make them run when they screw up.
The sad thing is, the RINOs look at you and I and see Tim McVeigh. Reference John McCain to see what that looks like in living color.
One good thing is that words like ‘racist’, ‘bigoted’ and ‘right-wing’ are losing their effect.
The libs made the mistake of labeling all the moderates that when they disapproved of Bammy’s policies. These were the same people who the words ‘racist’, ‘bigoted’ etc. used to scare. Now that they’ve gone through what we have, they know that these words are just weapons of the left, and they’re not listening.

Thanks, Allegra (Sorry I’m so awful slow in getting back to read comments.)
Another great way to gain a ballot at state reorganization conventions is through state legislators (they award their allotted voting party memberships to those who have helped them, or have distinguished themselves in 'battle' in some way.)
