>>I became confused when I heard the word ” Service” used with these agencies:

Internal Revenue ‘ Service ‘
U.S. Postal ‘ Service ‘
Telephone ‘ Service ‘
Cable TV ’ Service ‘
Civil ‘ Service ‘
State, City, County & Public ‘ Service ‘
Customer ‘ Service ‘
Agricultural Service
This is not what I thought Service “meant”.

But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to’ Service ‘ all his cows.
BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.<<

Generally 1 bull to 12 or 15 cows ratio is adequate for a beef cattle herd. The Feds have a 1 to 1 ratio, so you can expected to be “serviced” at least once a day by your government.

More often, of course, if Congress is in session.

That’s a silly question, of course they didn’t.

Reading a bill is so 1800s, these days you have to pass the bill to learn what is inside. Ex-Shrieker of the House Pale-Lousy said so.

Thanks, Sam, for the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance's Analysis of the Tester-Hagan Amendment (December 2, 2010)

The situation seems to be a lot less Kafkaesque than I thought. I am relieved to know what my friend and I do with our home grown produce isn't going to cost us a $500 annual registration fee under threat of up to ten years in prison.

You’re well under the $500,000 level, so probably will not be affected. Still, it’s the camel’s nose under the tent. Maybe even the whole head.

May be an ignorant question but does anyone know when this thing goes into law? How much time does one have to purchase heirloom seeds etc.?

” I am relieved to know what my friend and I do with our home grown produce isn’t going to cost us “

You might want to look-up and read the Tester Amendment - you and your friend are NOT EXEMPTED from this — you are ‘granted a waiver’, which waiver can be rescinded by the FDA, pretty much at will.....

(There is a ‘fig-leaf’ requirement that the FDA find that your activities might be ‘related’ - undefined - to ‘safety issues’ - also undefined... But there is no mechanism for appeal, or for ‘due process’ or ‘recourse’ of any kind... The law is what FDA says it is - period....)

,... the small (usually lefty) “organic growers” are...

Nah, the lefty growers have the big mouths. Most small ranchers, "organic" and otherwise, are conservative as are many farmers. And some start farming as lefties but learn to be conservative per force.

I called one of my Republican Senators’ office. The person answering the phone knew nothing about it and has no record of anything like this happening.

So?????

Could they do that in one neat little package like that?

It still has to go before the congress, hopefully they will not allow it to go through.
We can not afford another 17,000 government employees running around trying to decide what farms to shut down on us.

What a clueless bunch of idiots.

“LESS government”

what part do they not get???

The stupid public is also joke especially those who watch TV because TV controls the masses and ALL of TV supports hussein. Americans traded liberty for a clicker.

People here joke about Europeans rioting - at least they do something.
