Life is so unpredictable, and like my dad always says, its too short to be stuck in a rut! One way to get out of a rut is to find inspiration in the great outdoors. Activity and fresh air are energizing! Sunday at 9pm ET/8c on Sarah Palins Alaska, we show you a few things that we find more fulfilling than staying indoors and sitting on the couch.Plato said, You learn more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. So join us as we learn more about each other and what Gods creation has to offer, as we pack up the RV to go dog mushing, white water rafting, four-wheeling, and fossil hunting where we find evidence of ancient sea life on the high hilltops of the Last Frontier! Come join us as we experience more of Alaskas amazing sights and meet a few more of our friends, including a very special friend we visit in this episode who passed on recently. This episode is dedicated to our old friend Bones. You can watch a preview of it here.
My early New Years wish for all is that inspiration and fulfillment will be yours in 2011. Remember that one way to find that is to get outdoors.

GOOD on you! Nasty book store and like you said, Sarah had handed Piper a pen!
We visited Seavey’s operation in Seward and took a sled dog ride in a wheeled cart. It was run by his sons and was really interesting and fun. Our musher was a young man from Ohio who always wanted to be a musher from childhood. He followed his dream to Alaska and got a job at the Seavey kennels. He had just qualified for the Iditarod. I would have loved to go for a ride on the glacier.
I think she’ll be just as camera friendly then as she is now. My hubby thinks she’s a handfull now...I think she’s spunky. Besides, she’ll be 11 in 2012.
Thanks again. Be well, dear friend! I’m happy you were watching this episode, too. I think it’s truly special.
Alright, logging!
Good night, All! Time to trim our Christmas tree.
Vacuum Cleaner Cookies! WHAT?
Thanks dearest onyx for another week. Can’t think of a better way to start the week we celebrate Christ’s birth.
LOL. Yes, they do grow up fast. Turn around and they are having kids of their own.
I say that, too, but I really like this one much more than last week’s.
I had a great Mom, Sarah is a great Mom....I hope her kids realize it early in life so they can cherish the time they have with her.
Hey buddy!
Yep, that Piper has spunk all right and now she has a puppy named after her. I always forget, do you see this show two hours from now?
LOGGING next week.
Good night, dear Jem!!!
Because her rifle scope had been knocked off zero when her Dad (who was packing it) took that hard fall on the way to the hunting ground.
I need to go catch up on all the news of the day. Thanks for another fun thread. Later.
I don’t know if anybody else notice but the camera crew got a picture of Sarah w/o her glasses on as she was getting ready for the rafting trip.
Interesting! It’s always nice to hear from members who have been to the sites shown in her series. Thanks very much for telling us.
Wow, Bones apparently died after this episode was filmed.
Thanks very much for your kind words. Next Sunday is the day after Christmas, so I think her series will air as scheduled.
A Blessed and Merry Christmas to you and to everyone here.
Of course, I will see most, if not all during the week, but this is our special thread.
Shooting a shot gun is a lot different than a rifle. Shooting the flying targets you really don’t need to use the sights. Its more of a point and shoot.
