A couple more posters got zotted today.
Guess we need another reminder:
If you support the homosexual agenda you are anti-constitution and you'll get the zot from FR. Homosexuals already have the same "rights" as everyone else. God did not grant and the constitution does not guarantee homosexuals any special rights. In fact, the homosexual agenda is a full frontal attack on OUR God-given, constitutionally protected rights to free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, Life, Family, Marriage, Pursuit of Happiness, etc.
I don't want it on FR and won't have it on FR.
Like abortion, if you support the homosexual agenda on FR, your account here will be zotted!
Don't like it? Tough frickin Shinola! Get the hell OFF this conservative site!!
Most freepers I've run across don't giver a rats a$$ what KOS or DU losers post about us or any other subject. Again you have an agenda, it's clear.
We-meaning many so-called conservatives-have tried making nice with the enemy and where has that gotten us? Why kiss their ass on this most important of subjects, national defense?
Telling is not promoting. Telling someone you are black does not promote blackness. Granted that is a slightly different thing.
“...Love the sinner, hate the sin-I believe that’s in the Bible..”

No, it is not; you are quoting Gandhi.
All right, when Jesus said those things, Christianity was a fringe movement. He had to say those things or either the Romans would have even more justification to attack them.
It makes sense to tolerate the soldiers when there is always a chance of being attacked. However, I do understand that he felt anyone whose faith brought them closer to god would make them worthy followers.
Here is something I wrote some time ago about the soldiers:
Regarding the profession of soldiers, Jesus took a position that seemed contradictory but actually made sense. He had a non-confrontational stance towards soldiers and showed acceptance towards the profession, contrary to his teachings that attacking or retaliating to an attack was unacceptable (Slattery, 2007). Jesus seemed willing to accept the profession of the soldier and its main purpose: Attain or maintain a desired status even through the use of organized lethal force (Slattery 2007). The soldiers were just one of several social outcasts that Jesus is willing to accept into the kingdom of heaven (Slattery, 2007). In another example of how Jesus and his teachings reach even the soldiers of a pagan empire, a centurion stands at the foot of the Cross of Jesus after the crucifixion and realizes that Jesus is truly the son of God (Slattery 2007). The main point is that even people who would not be considered followers of Christ could be reached by the word of god. This position on the unluckiest of society shows how Jesus is flexible with people involved in a legal life of violence. He accepts those whose faith brings them closer to God, no matter their daily relationship with violence.
No, this phrase is not in the bible and it is most often used these days as a phony attempt to justify sinful actions on a range of issues, including active homosexuality.
Christ never said it, nor is it in scripture.
New Oxford Review article -- love the sinnner, hate the sin, NOT
So it is. I stand corrected.
Slattery, Michael W. (2007). Jesus the Warrior? Historical Christian Perspectives & Problems on the Morality of War & the Waging of Peace. Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Marquette University Press.
I am an Atheist and I have read the bible. I love the spirtuality that it brings to me. That phrase is not directly in there but it seems that Jesus’ actions towards the deviant say otherwise.
However, why did he tolerate? Because he believed that anyone could be accepted into the faith as long as they had faith in the first place. However, this is a different era. Christianity isn’t been persecuted(In the western world). Honestly, I think Jesus was doing that in order to increase believers in time when people were belittling him.
BTTT
Judge not, lest you be judged.
I am not a liar.
I do know homosexuals. What they do bedroom is their business unless it involves the unwilling, children, or animals.
I do not believe that EVERY homosexual lusts after young boys, just as I do not believe every black craves fried chicken and watermelon. While stereotypes are grounded in fact, the absolutism of the word “every” is not true.
I have never served in the military. I missed out on that experience. I wish I had served.
Perhaps it is my poison ivy suit which makes you itch.
You do realize that the Admin Mods have the same authority to hand down the zots, yes?
Is that a threat?
Has that happened? Really?
This nation is in one hell of a mess; and we are certainly playing out the oft repeated scenario of moral collapse, fiscal collapse and political collapse.
77% of Americans are said to favor allowing homosexuals to declare themselves so and serve in the military.
One can rage against that number; one can dismiss it as bogus / inaccurate. Is it 70%? 65? Is it possible a majority of Americans hold this view?
What we have now is the culmination of decades of decline. We best understand the depth of the hole we are in.
Nothing short of national repentance can save us. As Solzhenitsyn said so brilliantly
It was only when I lay there on rotting prison straw that I sensed within myself the first stirrings of good. Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either, but right through every human heart, and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. Even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained; and even in the best of all hearts, there remains a small corner of evil.
The problem is, this heart work is a do-it-yourself operation. Indeed, I cannot cast the evil out of any heart but my own.
Perhaps there is still space left for repentance. I thought 9/11 was it. I was wrong. Perhaps the next calamity will get our attention.
In the military it is. You aren't an individual, no matter what, in the military, you are all green. Your bringing race into this is a straw man. Someone of any race in the military can't go around proclaiming "I'm XX" because in the military there is no I.
Did you READ the title of this thread?
President Bush damaged the process by screwing up Iraq. Now nobody cares about anything due to all the cyncial views during the Bush years.
That shouldn't be annoying. Again you have an agenda.
