Love the sinner, hate the sin--I believe that's in the Bible as well, no?

No, this phrase is not in the bible and it is most often used these days as a phony attempt to justify sinful actions on a range of issues, including active homosexuality.
Christ never said it, nor is it in scripture.

I am an Atheist and I have read the bible. I love the spirtuality that it brings to me. That phrase is not directly in there but it seems that Jesus’ actions towards the deviant say otherwise.

However, why did he tolerate? Because he believed that anyone could be accepted into the faith as long as they had faith in the first place. However, this is a different era. Christianity isn’t been persecuted(In the western world). Honestly, I think Jesus was doing that in order to increase believers in time when people were belittling him.
