If you support the homosexual agenda you are anti-constitution and you'll get the zot from FR. Homosexuals already have the same "rights" as everyone else. God did not grant and the constitution does not guarantee homosexuals any special rights. In fact, the homosexual agenda is a full frontal attack on OUR God-given, constitutionally protected rights to free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, Life, Family, Marriage, Pursuit of Happiness, etc.

I don't want it on FR and won't have it on FR.

I do not know Jim Rob nor his vision for FR. There seems to be much debate on FR about a whole host of issues. I never got the idea that any subject was off limits until I read this specific post. It seems to contradict the name, Free Republic. Free speech, even of horrible positions, is the life blood of a free republic. As I said, FR is free to decide whatever and whomever are on its board. I find homosexuality and abortion to be immoral, and I do not support those that advocate them. On the other hand, I am an avid supporter of free speech.

The problem with what you said is hat while that philosophy works in a free society, we have a much smaller community with a definite focus here online on this forum, and thus we need some direction to the discussions.

Anyways, on a news and commentary web site such as this one, once everything has been said... Well, there is nothing more to say.

At that time best to just drop it.

Every web site forum seems to have people that post nothing much useful, just start and/or continue arguments. Some forums have more than others, and this site, FreeRepublic - is a big target. Sooner or later you have to quash them or they will always be trying to cause disruption and/or will drown you in their vast volume of inflammatory or silly postings.

Free speech is great, but here Jim Robinson is the one paying for it. So out of respect for him we have to follow his rules.
